Juan was great. He listened to my needs and it was all perfect. He played everything we wanted and was very patient with all the kids requesting songs.

DJ Johnny Cruz is amazing! He is what a real DJ is supposed to be like. Before our wedding, he really took the time to get to know us and what we like. He made us laugh and feel comfortable that we were in good hands. With one meeting, he was able to plan the layout for the equipment tell us the best places for set up and even helped us with choosing the layout for our reception. Truly a professional, with only a few questions he was able to devise a playlist that was customized just for our special day. For our wedding dance, we wanted to perform to a fun compilation and get the party started. This man took the three songs we had envisioned and mixed them with such skill you would have thought he was one of those DJs from New York. The mix was so smooth! Not only does he have DJ skills, but this man is a Master of MCs! He took the reins and helped bring the entire day together with incredible transitions! We were married in April of 2017 and we are still getting compliments on how well our DJ played some amazing hits and made sure that the agenda went off without a hitch. From the bouquet toss to the garter toss this guy was on fire, and made our guests feel a real connection to the fun day we had planned! We can’t thank him enough for make our day memorable.

Johnny was a pleasure to work with leading up to the day, he is a professional who worked so hard to give us the best party we could have had!
He played some great songs I had no idea would light up the dance floor (The Beatles "Eight Days a Week" was a blast!) and played ALL our requests, which was a pleasant surprise as at other weddings the DJ totally ignored requests.
He also did our ceremony sound and music which was stellar.
I actually gave him an unedited file for the ceremony by mistake, but when the song started to change away from the music we wanted he caught it right away and no one noticed! I was so grateful.

I have known that Juan would DJ my wedding since I was 12 and booked him for one of his very first gigs at my middle school dance. He has DJ’ed countless events in my life since from small gatherings with friends to my high school graduation party. I feel lucky to have seen MC Johnny Cruz grow from Juan and a few speakers to a thriving family business. When we had our initial phone call to walk through the event he helped tremendously to create an outline for how the event would run and helped day of to make sure everything flowed smoothly. Juan has a magnetism that is difficult to describe and I always know that no matter the crowed or the event Juan will have the whole room on their feet! I was a little concerned that some of the event guests might be a little judgmental of Juan since they are armature DJ’s themselves but they were the first ones to come up to me during the wedding and say “where did you find this guy?! He is awesome!!” Juan seems to find unique and creative ways to engage everyone at an event without being cheesy or gimmicky. He was the life of the party at my wedding and was able to take control of the situation when the party got so wild that we blew the fuse losing all lights, power and music……luckily we didn't have to wait long for the beat to drop! Juan is the perfect person to choose for your wedding day, he is knowledgeable and helps with everything from the ceremony to the after party.

After having a blast at a large wedding where Brian Martinez was the DJ, we hired Brian Martinez to MC and DJ our wedding.

We had a relatively small wedding (70 adult guests) with not a lot of dancers - Brian watched the room and changed things up as needed and took guest requests to keep things moving and did an excellent job without any direction from us (we are a chill couple and didn't even have a "must play" or "do not play" list). His suggestion to do "The Newlywed/Shoe Game" was a huge hit with us and our guests. He also suggested the "Anniversary Dance" since we didn't do a bouquet toss or garter grab and that went well too. Overall he was very professional and his demeanor was perfect for a casual couple doing an elegant mountain wedding. He also helped us - two people who don't like a lot of attention - feel comfortable in the spotlight.

To keep things simiple, we also used Brian for the ceremony in lieu of live musicians and he happily took our unique ceremony song list and played everything at the perfect time. While I haven't seen the full video yet, guests said it was done seamlessly and sounded very classy.

I can not say enough good things about our DJ Brian Martinez from MC Johnny Cruz Mobile DJ. He came very highly recommended and blew our expectations out of the water. He had the perfect touch of keeping the night moving but not being pushy and seemed to know exactly what we wanted. He kept the dance floor packed the entire night which is exactly what we wanted. I would recommend Brian Martinez to any one who is seeking a DJ for any event. He made our night amazing.

I saw Juan doing his DJ thing at a BBQ about 3 years ago and that day I said I wanted him to DJ my wedding. I got a business card and kept it. My wedding was 5 days ago and I used him - he was the very first vendor we booked because I didn't want to lose him! I don't even know what words I could really say to describe how great he is. He's so energetic, I know half the people out on the dance floor wouldn't have been if not for him. He got on the floor with us to keep things going. We met with him several times before the wedding to make sure everything was perfect, and it was. His energy is addictive, contact between us and him was fantastic, and I can't recommend him enough. 5 days later and I'm STILL getting compliments on him. If you go this way you won't be disappointed.

We worked with DJ Brian Martinez who was awesome - very professional, accommodating and just a really nice guy. We haven't been in or to a ton of weddings, so he was really patient in helping us figure out the music and timeline for the reception... and kept our guests dancing all night. I definitely recommend him.

DJ Juan and his wife are amazing people. They will make your wedding unique and memorable. We would recommend them 110%.
