We were beyond lucky to have Ariel as part of our wedding day! Watching him work during the reception was incredibly special for both us and our guests. We originally found Ariel while searching for something truly unique for guest gifts and asked if he would be able to commission small individual canvases for each of our guests to take home as their own one-of-a-kind piece of art from the day, along with three larger paintings for us to begin our art collection.

Not only did Ariel embrace the idea, but he also offered several thoughtful options and took the time to hop on a call to walk us through everything. Once we finalized our vision, he kept us informed every step of the way, sending examples as he worked—which only made us more excited leading up to the wedding.

On the wedding day itself, it was incredible to watch Ariel live painting and interacting with our guests throughout the reception. We received so many compliments on both him and his work, and we’re still getting photos from guests as they hang their pieces in their own homes. Ariel was also so gracious in taking personal requests throughout the day, which truly went above and beyond.

Ariel was a joy to work with and was kind, professional, and genuinely passionate about his craft, exactly the kind of person you want as part of your wedding day! For anyone considering a live artist, we truly cannot recommend Ariel enough!

I had an amazing experience hiring Ariel as a vendor for my wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House! We booked him to draw caricatures of our guests during the cocktail hour and into the reception, and it turned out to be one of the most fun and memorable aspects of our wedding. Everyone loved it! Ariel is not only incredibly talented but also very friendly and personable. Every guest who got a caricature done by him thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He made it fun and engaging, working tirelessly to create drawings for everyone who wanted one. Every time I glanced over, his hands seemed to be moving a million miles a minute!
A special touch Ariel included in our package was a caricature of my husband and me, which he completed ahead of time. He printed it on the back of all the paper used for guests' drawings and displayed it on an easel as part of his station setup. He genuinely took an interest in our story and collaborated with us to portray our caricatures as a stereotypical American and Australian, highlighting our immigration story. It turned out so cute and funny and made for a wonderful memento that we'll cherish forever.
Our guests also appreciated their drawings as keepsakes from the wedding. We saw many pictures of the caricatures posted on social media, and none were left behind, unlike many of our other favors.
Overall, I cannot recommend hiring Ariel for your next event enough! The service he provided was exceptional, his pricing was fair, and he played a critical role in making our wedding a unique and memorable experience for all our guests.

We hired Ariel as our live painter for our Wedding Day and we are SO glad we did! Not only is Ariel insanely talented but he is truly such a kind, lovely person and takes so much pride in his work! He went out of his way to meet with us beforehand on location and get photos to perfect the images. Everyone was raving about him at the Wedding it was such a highlight for our guests and now we have the most beautiful painting of our first dance that we will cherish forever!!! We had such a good experience working with Ariel and having him as part of our wedding day. Ariel did a live wedding painting with studio touch ups. Before the wedding we had multiple phone calls with Ariel to discuss what we were looking for in the painting. This was super helpful because it allowed us to give him an idea of what we wanted, rather than him just painting a scene from the day. It made us feel really good and I think it's amazing that he prioritizes his clients wants, and takes the time to speak with them about what they are looking for. We gave him a rough idea of the scene we wanted painted and then we gave him the artistic freedom to do what he does best. He did not disappoint! Having him paint live at the wedding was also incredible! All of our guests loved it and it was so cool watching him paint the scene live. I really would recommend a live wedding painting to everyone, and most important would recommend Ariel. He was very professional and made the process personal by involving us as a couple. Our painting came out amazing as well! He was quick and responsive and kept us in the loop during every stage of the process.

After seeing a friend's wedding painting at her house, I googled live artists in Maui and am SO glad that led me to Ariel. He was so easy to work with from start to finish, has such a great attitude, and is so extremely talented. Our painting is everything we could have dreamed of and more, and he was so quick to get it to us after completion. SO many of our guests commented on how it was such a good idea to have done. You will not regret it!
