Matthew was one of the first vendors we hired for our wedding. After interviewing a couple photographers, we went with him for a couple reasons. First, his style. He took great "standard" portrait style photos but also took some more risks and did some more unique or artistic shots. We love that we got a mix of both. Second, he was generally easy to talk to and funny. We though he'd be a nice calming presence on the day of (we were right!). Third, we thought it was cool that he worked with his wife as a second shooter. I assumed that would mean they could work together effortlessly in a way that another duo might not be able to. Last, we really didn't want to do a first look and wanted to make sure we found a photographer who wouldn't try to convince us to do that and who could work quickly and efficiently after the ceremony to get us to the party as fast as possible!

All the reasons we chose him really shone through on the day of, and everything went perfectly. Matthew and his wife were wonderful and fun to work with. We just got our pictures back this week, and are simply overwhelmed with how many wonderful shots he got. The day goes by so fast, and you really feel like you hardly got to be a part of it. Having all these pictures helps me relive it, and get to feel like I didn't miss anything.

We look forward to working with Matthew any time we need professional photos in the future. We are also happy to share our photos with anyone as I know it was important to me to see full albums, not just highlights, before I selected someone.

From start to finish our entire experience was great! We had an in person consultation which was very beneficial to making sure our wedding ran smoothly. I met Matthew and Peggy at bridal show and we instantly connected. Unlike many other vendors at this very busy event, they made me feel like I was the only perspective customer in the building. They were genuinely interested in getting to know me. We talked about our families, shared a few laughs, discussed their services (no pressure) and I went on my way. Admittedly, I was still in shopping mode as I was a very thrifty bride. I continued to cross paths with Matthew at other events. Each time, he was just as welcoming as the first time. I felt like I was running into an old friend. After a lot of research, I selected Matthew to be my photographer although there were less expensive options. It was a very wise investment on my part. Throughout the entire process, Matthew was very open to my ideas and feedback. Our engagement and wedding photos are amazingly BEAUTIFUL. Your wedding day is going to go by in a blink of an eye and you can not recreate those moments, Matthew will do a fabulous job of capturing all of your special moments.
