I have worked in the wedding industry for 10 years and have worked with numerous wedding photographers in the tri-state area. There is no comparison to Matthew Szoke Photography. Matt and Russ were absolutely incredible! They were professional, personable, calm, cool and collected- yet so fun at the same time!

We met with Matt before booking and we just loved his style laid back, easy going style. Some photographers can be very pushy, but Matt was all about us and doing exactly what we wanted for our wedding day.

Him and Russ arrived on time the morning of the wedding and got right to work shooting detail shots and getting ready photos. They made every one feel relaxed and at ease. They weren't intrusive at all, with a room full of 10 girls, 3 makeup/hairstylists they fit right in, working around us- you wouldn't even know they were there!!

With a bridal party of 16, they did a fantastic job coordinating everyone. They made us all feel so comfortable and like we were the best looking bridal party ever-which I loved! They meshed so well with our friends and family and it was a pleasure having them with us the entire day.

I haven't even seen the photos, but I know they are going to be amazing. Russ was climbing on chairs and laying on the ground to get the perfect shot. I caught him multiple times getting such unique detail shots. Between him and Matt I was so impressed with the their creativity and knowledge of their craft [with lenses and lighting] to get the perfect shots. I can't wait to see them!

Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is easy going, yet professional all at the same time. Matt met with us ahead of time to show us some of his previous work and he came to our venue to sketch out where we would like pictures to be taken. He somehow managed to capture the best parts of our day without being right in our face. He had an associate, Russ, who was equally as friendly as he was professional. And, he wears a great bow tie :) By the end, they felt like a friend. I would recommend him to anyone!

I hired Matthew and his assistant Russ to photograph my wedding because he did such a great job with my sister’s wedding. I was extremely happy with the service provided. Matt went above and beyond to take pictures of my husband and I. He made sure our bridal party stuck to the timeline we discussed while still getting all of the pictures we wanted. He is a kind person and professional business man. I would highly recommend using him!
