The Perfect Fit
Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is easy going, yet professional all at the same time. Matt met with us ahead of time to show us some of his previous work and he came to our venue to sketch out where we would like pictures to be taken. He somehow managed to capture the best parts of our day without being right in our face. He had an associate, Russ, who was equally as friendly as he was professional. And, he wears a great bow tie :) By the end, they felt like a friend. I would recommend him to anyone! -

I hired Matthew and his assistant Russ to photograph my wedding because he did such a great job with my sister’s wedding. I was extremely happy with the service provided. Matt went above and beyond to take pictures of my husband and I. He made sure our bridal party stuck to the timeline we discussed while still getting all of the pictures we wanted. He is a kind person and professional business man. I would highly recommend using him! -

I have worked in the wedding industry for 10 years and have worked with numerous wedding photographers in the tri-state area. There is no comparison to Matthew Szoke Photography. Matt and Russ were absolutely incredible! They were professional, personable, calm, cool and collected- yet so fun at the same time!
We met with Matt before booking and we just loved his style laid back, easy going style. Some photographers can be very pushy, but Matt was all about us and doing exactly what we wanted for our wedding day.
Him and Russ arrived on time the morning of the wedding and got right to work shooting detail shots and getting ready photos. They made every one feel relaxed and at ease. They weren't intrusive at all, with a room full of 10 girls, 3 makeup/hairstylists they fit right in, working around us- you wouldn't even know they were there!!
With a bridal party of 16, they did a fantastic job coordinating everyone. They made us all feel so comfortable and like we were the best looking bridal party ever-which I loved! They meshed so well with our friends and family and it was a pleasure having them with us the entire day.
I haven't even seen the photos, but I know they are going to be amazing. Russ was climbing on chairs and laying on the ground to get the perfect shot. I caught him multiple times getting such unique detail shots. Between him and Matt I was so impressed with the their creativity and knowledge of their craft [with lenses and lighting] to get the perfect shots. I can't wait to see them!
Thank you for being a part of our big day- we are forever grateful and honored to have had you as a part of our wedding day!

Matt did an amazing and professional job with my wedding. We could not have been happier! Not only is he professional and an excellent photographer, he is funny and entertaining! We spent most of the day with him while getting ready and it was never awkward, it just felt natural. He was great about making sure we got all the shots we wanted and helped up come up with some ideas throughout the day if we needed them. He was on point during the reception, making sure to get lots of dancing photos and group shots. His photos of the dark dance floor, something that is difficult to capture, turned out amazing and I laughed so hard seeing my dance party come to life in the photos. The photography (along with some fuzzy memories;) is all you really have left after the big day, so it is important to have someone you trust taking down those memories. Matt did a great job and I can't wait to have the photos to look at for years to come. -

Matt captured our wedding day on September 13, 2014. He was so fantastic to work with! He was so friendly and helpful throughout the whole planning process. He truly captured the beauty of our wedding and also our engagement. Matt won us over when we met with him for a free consultation. His passion for photography came through in his pictures and how he spoke about it. We loved all of the albums he had created and felt that he would be able to cater to our style. The engagement photo session was included in our package and we loved the photos so much that we used them for our save the dates. Matt and his team were so perfect to work with on both the engagement shoot day and our wedding day. He was very flexible and easy going and no request was unheard. He captured all the pictures that we wanted him to and we never felt bombarded by him during the wedding day. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and all of our wedding party and family felt the same way. His creativity was a blessing to have. I would recommend Matt to any bride and groom out there! -

Matt was absolutely AMAZING to work with. Both him and Sarah are such nice and awesome people, and I truly hope I have another chance to see both of them again. Matt felt like a friend by the end of the process, and he was so helpful the day of (often helping me more than he had to) and giving suggestions for numerous parts of the wedding. it was also nice to just have him there by us during the wedding. I was somewhat overwhelmed, but it was nice to have matt there to be a calming force. He sent us preview pictures, and all of the photobooth pictures (we added the open air photo booth option he has) literally the day after our wedding, which was so amazing! if his preview pictures are anything to go by, our photos are going to be absolutely AMAZING! We found Matt via recommendation by a friend of ours that got married recently. She said he gives you all the photos on this really cool wooden USB drive and that she was very very happy with how everything turned out and his quick turn around time. The reason we hired him actually was because of how good we looked in the photos from their wedding, and he wasn't even trying to make us look good! I would not go with any other photographer but Matt Szoke. Truly a talented and genuinely nice individual and company to work with. They definitely surpassed my expectations. Matt was even nice enough to listen to me vent for a little! I also really like his payment options, as he allows you to pay a small deposit and then pay the balance in full a couple weeks before the wedding. This was way more convenient and easier for us to be able to save for it. -

Matt was fabulous! We really couldn't have asked for more. From the very beginning planning stages (when we lived long distance and he skyped with us and made room in his schedule to meet with us in person on the rare occasions when we were in town) all the way to the end when he helped us put together a beautiful album and reassured us every step of the way until the album and digital files were at our doorstep, he has really been a treat to work with. We can't imagine having anyone else follow us around on one of the most important days in our lives. Matt and Jess brought so much energy and a lot of smiles to our wedding day, pleasing us, our parents, our friends, everyone, without detracting from the day we had planned. They were a great help in creating (and sticking to) our timeline. Above all, they took fabulous photos of moments we're sure to remember for the rest of our lives. I would absolutely recommend Matt to anyone and everyone! -

Matthew and his team were simply incredible. He was an absolute joy to work with throughout the wedding planning period, a pleasure to get to know and even MORE fun to spend time with on our wedding day :-) We were really particular about having a photographer who understood how to capture the important moments, but didn’t need to spend 10 hours in Photoshop to make it look good later. The Instagram/distressed style was not what we wanted for wedding photos either - though we love it for Facebook! Vivid color, photojournalistic approach, and a few timeless, formal shots were the goal and Matthew delivered. He and his second shooter Russ were amazingly flexible, solved problems on the fly, had creative shot ideas, got along with our bridal party without missing a beat, remembered the details we talked about in advance - when we were too busy to remember them ourselves during the day, and in the end captured breathtaking pictures that we can’t wait to frame and share with our families. We highly recommend Matthew and his team and can't thank him enough for beautifully documenting the happiest day of our lives.

Matt Szoke was recommended by another couple who he photographed for their wedding, and I couldn't have been happier with him and his services! He's incredibly responsive, flexible, and relaxed. Matt is the best photographer! His pricing is absolutely reasonable. He also did our engagement pictures which were awesome! We were able to use them for our save the dates and for our guest book since they turned out so well. Matt is also a great person and very personable. He truly wants to please his customers. When we received our wedding pictures (which did not take long) we were so impressed by not only the quantity but the quality of the pictures!! I honestly could not have asked for any better pictures! Matt and his helper, that day Jess, were so polite and you barely even knew they were there, yet they captured amazing pictures!! Absolutely impressed!!!!! -

Matt was amazing to work with! His prices were very reasonable and his pictures are stunning! He sat down with me two weeks before the wedding to discuss what I wanted for the day of, he even went to my venue a head of time so that he could find the best places for pictures!!! The day after our wedding, Matt posted a few teaser pictures for the wedding! I would highly recommend him to anyone!!!!! You will not be disappointed!! -
