When I started out looking for my ideal wedding dress, I had no idea what I wanted or what would work best with my body type. My sister and I went to many bridal salons, I tried on many dresses but nothing felt right. While browsing thru the dresses at a particular salon, I came across a dress that caught my eye, I got the designer's name and later went on his website, saw his gowns loved what I saw and then made an appointment with them. The girls at Mathew Christopher flagship store were great! I worked mainly with Inka who was flexible with her time. I worked late hours and she was willing to accommodate me by allowing me to view dresses at a later time. I love the designers concept of having a built in corsette in the gown i choose. Very flattering, the Enma gown was stunning, sexy, elegant and made me feel like a princess though it was a mermaid style gown. She was patient, ( I was a bit indecisive between Emma and Isabelle gowns). Altough they did not do alterations, they made recommendations. My experience with the seamstress she recommended was wonderful. Everyone who has seen me in this gown designed

I purchased my wedding gown from Matthew Christopher’s NYC flagship salon and was extremely happy. I had originally seen Matthew Christopher dresses in Nordstrom and a few bridal salons and fell in love with his absolutely beautiful designs. I visited the NYC flagship salon during a trunk show to see their full selection. I had an opportunity to work with Matthew Christopher himself in addition to Rebecca. They were both a pleasure to work with. They helped me pick out an incredibly gorgeous gown and worked with me to modify the silhouette to one I was more comfortable with for my body. We complemented the gown with a beautiful Haute Bride belt.

When dress came in, Rebecca had switched roles at Mathew Christopher and I began to work with Inka. Inka was very responsive and patient answering all of my questions. She was flexible when it came to scheduling times to come pick up the dress, veil and Haute Bride accessories. She recommended working with Sew Elegant for alterations and they did a wonderful job.

My wedding gown ended up being beyond beautiful and I absolutely loved wearing it at my wedding. I got tons of compliments on the gown at my wedding and guests mentioned that it was unlike any lace gown they had seen before. I would highly recommend Matthew Christopher—thank you very much!
