Matt made us feel at ease instantly! When we asked Matt about taking our engagement photos on a sailboat he was down for the challenge and did not disappoint! We were absolutely stunned by his work. He let us be us yet still coached us effortlessly and effectively. He's truly talented and has en eye for great photos. Everyone he came contact with agreed—he’s absolutely amazing at what he does. 10/10 would recommend!!!

We used Matt’s photography services for our first ceremony in Sept. then again with Engagement photos, Bridals and Wedding ceremony/ reception in March. I repeated his services from Sept to March because we were SO impressed by his skill and ability to utilize light and settings to make beautiful photos that capture a priceless memory! Matt did our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and our wedding photography. His work is amazing! He is so easy-going, personable, and just plain awesome to work with. If you're an introvert like myself, it's hard to get comfortable being the center of attention, especially in front of a camera. But Matt kept me laughing and worked with my awkwardness to create absolutely stunning photos. He really captured who we are as a couple and the love and fun that was had on our big day.

Matt was hands down my favorite vendor to work with for my NYE 2013 wedding!! I know, I am a bit behind on writing reviews. Better late than never?

I interviewed a couple photographers in person for our wedding, and others I only researched online. I knew this cost was going to be pricey due to the quality of work, cost of equipment and labor, travel, etc. My husband and I paid for the wedding ourselves, and although we wanted to spend every dime we could on a photographer, we couldn't rationalize spending thousands of dollars (based on the people we had met with).

Then Matt came along. Matt photographed a wedding my sister attended, and when she mentioned his name to me I took it seriously. She was a freelance photographer for a while, so she knew what she was talking about.

Based on his website alone, I knew I had to work with him. He had the artistic capability to capture our wedding day the way I wanted it remembered. It didn't hurt that his prices were much more reasonable!! I was sold within five minutes of meeting him. He wasn't flashy, or bossy. He wasn't snooty, or 'too busy'. He was comforting, fun, and personable.

The camera was pointed at me for a good portion of the day, and I didn't mind. He made me feel comfortable all day, and it really was ALL DAY. We did photos during a bridal breakfast, then hair and make-up, and all the way through our 7pm ceremony into ringing in the New Year at midnight. He seamlessly wove himself into every aspect of our big day. It was perfect.

Even today, I have friends talk about how they love looking through our wedding photos. My parents are complaining that I haven't given them a photo album yet (I'm horrible at this, see?).

He has done one other friend's wedding since ours, and will be shooting my husband's sister's wedding in May. I can't wait to see how their photos turn out!!

Matt is a great value for great photos.

We used him for our wedding and his photos are beautiful! He is a fun, personable guy and we loved having him at our wedding. He was also fun to have in the bride's room while we were all getting ready and was very respectful of our privacy. He knew when to stay and when to leave to take other photos and scope out the neighborhood for our bridal party photos.

I can not say enough about how great of a deal Matt's pricing is. He graduated from an art school where he studied photography so he REALLY knows what he's doing. He loves wedding photography so he's a joy to have around. Because he loves it, his price is for the entirety of your wedding and the price is less than what other photographers who didn't study photography charge for six hours. I wish there were bonus stars so I could give him a higher rating.

He's flexible and easygoing and you should just hire him!
