Hello!

I'm Mati, a Chilean with roots in the PNW. I'm all about coffee, old fashion doughnuts, stand up paddling and exploring the Pacific Northwest. I used to be an avid climber and an adventure guide in Chile and British Columbia. Now I'm a full time photographer, based in Tacoma - Seattle who loves getting outside with my family and my camera whenever I can.

I was 16 when my grandmother got me a Konica Minolta film camera for a school trip. Ever since then I've been documenting my trips and life as a whole. Only a couple years ago I had the strenght to jump into full time and make photography my career. My wife was a huge advocate of this as she believed that not only I'd be good at it but I'd also be happy.

MY APPROACH Is a mix of organic and visual storytelling portraits that let you be yourself. I am passionate about creating authentic photographs for you and your partner that are going to bring back memories throughout your life.

Don't worry about being awkward or not knowing any poses. If there is anything I'll tell you to do is just to be yourself!

THE EXPERIENCE If there's anything I've learned throughout my working life it's the importance of service. Working in tourism and hospitality made me always plan ahead, look for potential problems and how to get through them.

I'm committed to capturing you and your partner's milestone moments-from engagement to expecting your first. As I photograph a couple along their path, I honor that every couple's story is unique.
