We are so happy that we chose to hold our ceremony at Marsh Chapel. It is a gorgeous church and the location is great. Our ceremony was beautiful, complete with a bubble exit out onto the plaza. We worked with Heidi throughout the planning process. She was very helpful via email, and I was so glad to have her there to conduct our rehearsal. She made sure everything went smoothly the day of the wedding, and it did!

Marsh Chapel is the university chapel at BU....it's an amazing location (next to the Charles), and it's easy to direct people to it. They provide parking on the day of the wedding and it's easy access by T. If you are getting married in the afternoon during the summer, it's important to know that it is NOT air-conditioned. We had a morning wedding and a moderate temperature day. Not sure we would have survive 90 degrees in there. It's a great space, and they do a lot of weddings there, so they have the routine down.

If you have a wedding coordinator, Marsh Chapel is great! If you are coordinating yourself like I was, this was an extra task I wasn’t fully prepared for. You pay for a wedding coordinator but I’m not sure what she actually did. I had to call to book individual meetings with the officiant and organist, and then the original coordinator we spoke to changed and we were assigned someone else when we walked in for our rehearsal. Everyone you meet with requires different checks to be made out to them (and an additional one for the Chapel itself). The coordinator did not bring out the ring bearer pillow or bubbles for the kids we left with her at the rehearsal on the morning of the wedding so that was a bust, and they advised against putting a mic on for my brother who played the guitar for the bridal party processional. You couldn’t hear him play at all regardless of where you were in the Chapel and it isn’t captured in our video either as a result. If my husband and I were graduates of BU, we wouldn’t have selected Marsh.
