Marissa did a fantastic job with makeup and hair for my wedding! She and her team completed hair and makeup for myself and 10 others in our wedding party. She was incredibly organized and made sure everyone looked and felt their best for the big day. She brought a great positive vibe to our day. Would definitely recommend booking Marissa!

I cannot say enough great things about Marissa and her assistant Sarah. Just to start, they were so personable and professional. Our wedding day had a pretty strict timeline; Marissa was spot on with her estimates, and she even reserved time at the end for any touch ups or final veil adjustments. My hair, as well as my 6 bridesmaids, 3 junior bridesmaids/flower girls, aunt, and mother’s hair all stayed in the entire evening. I am very type A and tend to get frazzled easily. Marissa was perfect for my personality; she answered all of my questions and successfully kept me calm because she was so planned and organized in her styling. I would HIGHLY recommend Bridal Art by Marissa Julin to anyone who needs an extremely talented, reliable, personable, and professional stylist. I couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire Marissa.

Marissa and her assistant Beth were both amazing to work with! Marissa listened to what I had envisioned for both hair and makeup from the initial trial, and did both in such a natural way that I felt like myself on my wedding day - no stickiness from being overly done up, yet everything lasted all night! Marissa and Beth were professional and a blast to get ready with, while keeping everyone relaxed and doing hair for 7 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and bridal hair/makeup by lunchtime. But the icing on the cake was how kind and accommodating they were to squeeze in a crying 16-year old junior bridesmaid after a hair crisis at another salon. I was beyond impressed and can’t say enough good about these ladies!!!

Marissa did a terrific job with my makeup! I felt so pretty and it lasted all day! She also did my mom and sisters’ makeup and they were so happy with it! Being from out of state I was not able to have a trial and was a little nervous on how the makeup was going to turn out. Marissa understood exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job with us. I am so thankful that I was able to work with Marissa! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as makeup for one of my bridesmaids and hair for all 6 of my bridesmaids. Every single hairstyle was beautiful! From my initial emails, my hair/makeup trial, and then wedding day, Marissa was so kind and listened to all of my requests. Marissa made me feel like a bride and I can't thank her enough for creating the exact look for me I always dreamed about. On top of all of that - Marissa talked to me and calmed me down when I started feeling nervous, and was such a joy to spend the day with getting ready. Would HIGHLY recommend Marissa!!!

FIVE STARS. She made me and my bridesmaids look like models. I always hate getting my hair and makeup done because I always end up with a hairdo I hate and have WAY too much makeup on, so I was very cautions when choosing a hair and makeup person (without having to break the bank as well). Marissa and her makeup wizard Rhonda were our GLAM SQUAD on my wedding day.
First of all - I have curly hair and no one EVER knows what to do with it when getting my hair done (which is why I usually hate my hairdos). Luckily, Marissa also has curly hair (literally the same as mine) so as soon as I saw her, I KNEW she was going to finally get me to rock a hairstyle. And, as expected, she didn't let me down. My hair looked PHENOMINAL for both my hair trial AND my wedding day. And it stayed in ALL DAY LONG (and even into the next day). She was very flexible with my bridesmaids who all wanted their own hairstyle and everyone loved what they got. Rhonda, who did our makeup, made us look beautiful and natural, which is what we all wanted. They also were so fun to work with - they fit right in with my crazy bridesmaids and myself - we had a blast getting ready (and Rhonda had the best playlist EVER).
And as if Marissa is not just amazing on her own, her prices are UNBEATABLE - and we had 4 bridesmaids, and a Bride getting hair and makeup done. She even traveled to us at our venue so we didn't have to lift a finger that day.
I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup that day that I felt like a movie star. Thank you, Marissa and Rhonda for giving us our "fifteen minutes" on my wedding day. You guys are the best!!
