I am a seasoned makeup artist and licensed cosmetologist, with 10 years of experience . Well versed in all aspects of bridal, beauty, commercial, fashion, editorial, television and also provide makeup lessons.

I am a mobile Hair and Makeup Artist, depending on the size of a wedding party I can take care of everyone myself or bring along my wonderful assistants . We take pride in listening to every one of our clients and help them look and feel as amazing as they should on their exciting day.

Naturally curly girls! This is your hairstylist!

Marisa is incredible! I'm a curly girl and needed someone to put my curls up for my wedding. I had a heck of a time finding a hair stylist who understood that I just wanted someone to take my natural curls and style them. They all wanted to rewash and curl my hair - and I wanted my natural curls.

When I contacted Marisa I knew I had found the right person, she was super responsive via email, understood exactly what I wanted and was very reasonably priced. I set up a trial, showed her pics and she did an amazing job making my hair EXACTLY what I wanted.

She's also the sweetest person in the world. The morning of the wedding for about an hour before everyone showed up it was just my bridesmaid, her and me and it was wonderful - she made the morning of my wedding better. She's relaxed, fun to talk to, and of course quickly and easily made my hair look GORGEOUS!

I couldn't recommend Marisa more! If you live in Southern California and need a fabulous stylist who will work with your natural curls LOOK NO FURTHER!

My one and only requirement for my November wedding hair stylist was that she knows/understands curly hair. I didn't want it to fall into the usual up do styling of straightening it or worst trying to change the curl. I'm a Curlygirl through and through and my soon to be husband wouldn't want it any other way. My coordinator Brenda Swann referred Marisa to me and although I had interviewed several venders for various other positions before making my decision after my trial with Marissa there was only HER. For our trial I brought in a couple different pictures of curly do ideas and could not have been happier with the results. She did my makeup and transformed my hair into something even better than my Pinterest pictures. That night my fiancé and I went out dancing and put the hair to the ultimate test! Hair looked fab all night long. During the trial Marissa and I were chatty and laughing and I felt like she was a friend. A really cool hip friend who was also getting married a month before me. The morning of our wedding she showed up with an assistant and they went to work and glamorized all 7 of my bridesmaids plus my Mob and Mog. I seriously could not have been happier with my hair and a month later am still receiving compliments on how gorgeous my hair looked and how happy people were that I rocked my curls. 110% recommend her especially if you have curly thick hair! Any Curlygirl knows that Marissas are few and in between and if you find one you don't let them go :D

Marisa did an AMAZING job! She did hair for three and my make up.

My mom could not stop raving for weeks after the wedding about all the compliments she got on how natural Marisa made her hair look.

I loved the look we came up with and how friendly and easy to work with Marisa was. I'm always a little leary of make up and keeping it fresh looking all day, but Marisa did such a great job! In the photos you can hardly tell I was wearing makeup and nothing moved after hours of dancing!

I will definitely be getting Marisa to do my hair for my next big event!
