We had nothing but positive experiences with Mario from engagement shoot to the big day! We used Mario for our engagement shoot in Philly about a year before our wedding. We were really unsure of locations and he had great suggestions that he ran by us and offered ideas ahead of time and during the shoot, he helped adjust as we looked at the lighting and space. We both expressed how unsure we were about taking professional pictures since this was a first for us and were not comfortable with a lot of the trendy shots and he really worked with us to make all the poses feel natural to us while still looking phenomenal. We decided to go with his associates for the big day based on our budget and they did not let down. Mario specifically picked two photographers who were familiar with our venue and had great suggestions for where to get the best shots. Our two associates, Rachel & Alyssa, were helpful, kind, fun, professional and absolute champs to get all the best pictures on our day. We had 100+ degree temps and they worked so hard to make sure we were comfortable the entire time while not sacrificing the pictures we had planned for. They checked in with us often and were not afraid to tell our family that the group pictures were done so that we could actually enjoy cocktail hour (after confirming with us that is was what we wanted). They also took adorable couples pictures of our guests during lulls in the dinner service that my family and friends were beyond excited for. Mario and his associates are an absolute recommendation in my book and I can not say enough nice things about working with them!

Our wedding day at Johnson's Locust Hall Farm, brought to life by the incredible Olive & Shae, was made all the more magical by Mario Oliveto. Mario is absolutely incredible at his craft, but he is also compassionate and thoughtful, and made our entire day - from start to finish - an absolute dream. We chose to also work with Mario for our engagement shoot, which was our first dose of how AWESOME he is. He helped bring my husband and I out of our shells and enjoy every single moment of the shoot. The outcome was incredible - I had never seen such beautiful photos, and he really brought out the absolute best in the both of us, both inside AND out. After the moment we met Mario, I knew we made the right choice. Flash forward to our wedding day, and building on my earlier comments, Mario blew us away again. He was incredibly professional, but also brought a level of fun and carefree to the day that only a skilled photographer can. The first set of photos we received were the most stunning things I have ever seen, and it showed me that Mario not only cares about capturing the main moments of the day, but the quiet, intimate moments that you wouldn't think of capturing, but are SO glad you did. I am so grateful to Mario for making our day so incredibly special, and I can't wait to work with him again in the future. Highly recommend!!!!!

Mario and his partner, Teresa, were so talented and easy to work with. We were able to still feel like ourselves, even when we knew there were photographers around us. Our bridal party also loved their energy. They were so flexible when we were adding last minute 'formal photos' with family members we saw at the wedding, but forgot to add to our list beforehand. We cannot wait to see the photos and highly recommend Mario and his team.

Mario was a pleasure to work with for our October 2021 wedding! My husband and I first worked with Mario on our engagement photos via a recommendation by a close friend. Based on the shots from that session alone, we were blown away by Mario's natural, airy style and his knack for capturing light in a stunning fashion. When we arrived upon our wedding day, Mario and his team were timely and made us, along with our bridesmaids and groomsmen, feel very comfortable right away. Throughout the day, Mario and his team were present to capture every moment, and did so in a way that was organic and fun. They offered their own creative ideas for shots (our veil photos are some of our favorites) as well as took key shots we wanted to get at the venue. Mario and his team also made the trek from Philly to North NJ to be there for our wedding, so we are incredibly appreciative of the time and effort that was made to ensure our whole day was being photographed. So far we've only seen "sneak peek" photos, but they consistently put a huge smile on our faces whenever we look at them and make us even more excited for what's to come!

Mario is not only an AMAZING photographer, he is such a pleasure to work with. He makes you feel so comfortable and is such a kind soul. His work is phenomenal and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better To photograph our engagement pictures and wedding. He really went above and beyond and captured every perfect shot.

With so many questions and variables, I never doubted Mario and his team from the start. During such crazy times, Mario was on top of answering all questions I had via email and/or phone. On the day of our wedding (11/14/2020), Mario and Aly arrived with smiles and positivity. I’m not one to be very comfortable in front of the camera, but Mario and Aly were so easy going. The pictures are flawless. Mario captured love in these photos, not from just me and my husband, but from our family and friends. I was showing photos to elder family members who were unable to attend our wedding and I was so happy to see pictures of our food. It sounds silly, but it’s a small touch that my family enjoyed seeing who couldn’t be there in person. If Mario or Aly noticed someone taking a picture on their cell phone, they were there to take the picture with their camera. If I wanted to take a photo with someone, we would make eye contact and they were there to capture the moment. I am still receiving compliments from our guests about Mario and Aly. I could not be any happier choosing him.

Mario was such a humble and calming presence throughout our engagement and wedding. He has the ability to capture moments you can only dream of. He's such a talent and fantastic human being. We will not hesitate to use his services for any future celebration. Do yourself a favor and choose Mario.

OMG. I cannot say enough good things about Mario. I am shocked he only has 6 reviews on The Knot. From the second we got engaged I knew the most important thing to me about our wedding (other than marrying my husband of course) was the photographer. I am big on pictures and they are very important to me to reminisce on and remember good times with friends and family. Needless to say for such an important event I wanted our photos to be on point. Mario is actually a preferred vendor at our venue (The Manor House and Prophecy Creek) and that is how we heard of him. When we first spoke on the phone, he was so warm and kind and although I was a little worried about pricing at first we were able to work something out that I felt comfortable with. In retrospect, I am SO thankful we booked Mario because he was one of the best parts about our big day. A few of my friends were initially surprised I hired a male photographer due to the intimate nature of some wedding photos, but that thought never even crossed my mind. Once I saw Mario’s work I KNEW we needed to hire him. Because of the virus we had to reschedule our engagement shoot a few times and he was always super flexible. Then, on the day of our engagement shoot the one location we wanted to shoot at actually said we couldn’t shoot there. I was super bummed but Mario took it in stride and we found a different location that was just as if not more beautiful. One of the biggest things for me was that before our engagement session my now husband was dreading “hours of taking pictures” but when we were done he said “that actually was fun, Mario is super cool”. Then came our wedding day. Mario and his assistant photographer Theresa were wonderful. Theresa literally had her arms stretched in positions for so long holding my veil etc and she was smiling the entire time. She was GREAT. She was able to go take photos of my now hubby and his groomsmen getting ready while Mario was with me and my girls. She even helped my stepson get his bowtie on. All my bridesmaids and mom/MIL raved about how nice Mario was and how respectful he was and kind. Everyone loved him. The night of our wedding he sent me a couple sneak photos (yes.. the night of.. at 2am!). I am literally bursting with excitement to see our full album and I cannot wait to work with Mario again. I already told my husband we will be hiring him for all our future baby/family/you name it photos. Thanks again Mario for making our day truly the best ever!!!! We are in a state of euphoria! We had the most amazing day for our daughter's wedding. So many people contributed to the success of the day and Mario Oliveto Photography photographers were part of it. Everyone loved working with Mario and Liam. We loved having Mario photograph our wedding! He was easy to work with and has the most creative eye! He came early and took lots of venue photos, scouted out the best spots with the prettiest backdrops for our bridal party, and me and my husband. He made suggestions, helped us pose, and then sent us 70 edited photos the same night!! I want to enter his photos for an award they are so amazing! We got as many compliments on the photos as we got on the food. I highly recommend Mario! He is outstanding!
