Where to begin. My fiance (now husband) and I stumbled across Maria's photography website while researching engagement photographers. It was one of those situations, after literally seeing probably a handful of her photos, that we had no doubt in our mind she was "the one." We shot her an e-mail and she shot one right back. We had never had professional photos taken of ourselves (or each other together) before. We were naturally a bit shy and anxious about the whole process and Maria made all that go away. From the moment we started e-mail to the moment we met her in person to this very day, Maria has been a friend. We were so happy with the outcome of our "aliveness engagement session" and we loved Maria so much that we asked her if she was available to do our wedding. She rearranged her schedule to be able to make it to our wedding, and we are forever grateful. She brought Zai along and introduced her into our lives - and we are so grateful for that as well. Together, Maria and Zai captured the aliveness of our wedding and naturally captured moments that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Wedding photography is one of those aspects of a wedding that can be THE MOST STRESSFUL thing that a couple (and their families) can mull over while planning a wedding. With Maria, and I'm not. even. joking. We spent ZERO time worrying about our photos. Maria's aesthetic and energy and love are all authentic and we knew that all of that would result in a fantastic process.
