Maria was absolutely amazing to work with through every part of the process! I knew I wanted beautiful wedding pictures, and I could tell from her portfolio that she was able to make these beautiful soft scenes in almost any location. When we first met with her, my now husband and I expressed that we were a little concerned about how well we would be in front of the camera. But during our engagement session, Maria was so fun and gave clear direction so we ended up having beautiful photos! On the day of the wedding, her team was so professional and prepared – Maria even hand sewed part of my sleeve ruffle back on when it popped off just before the ceremony! I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer, and I would happily work with her again for any future big life events :)

Our experience with Maria was excellent! We were initially overwhelmed when trying to select a photographer for our interfaith wedding, but seeing Maria’s photos on her website made the decision easy. We really appreciated her style of photography - deep rich colors and focus on the couple. Other photographers seemed to have a lot of strange angles and washed out colors, which we were trying to avoid.

Hiring Maria was a breeze. She is responsive by email and always happy to jump on a call when needed. Part of her package included engagement photos, which were extremely helpful when putting together our save the dates and website. She is intuitive, yet also did a good job of asking us for our preferences to confirm. The wedding day was also a breeze, and Maria documented all of our key moments without being intrusive at all.

Maria’s turnaround times are excellent, and she was never late with delivering sneak peeks or the digital albums.

Finally, we also worked with Maria on the final physical photo album. She was very flexible and allowed us to have multiple rounds of revisions. She was very accommodating even when we wanted to swap out many photos for more preferred variations. It was a lot of work and Maria did not hesitate to help us develop the perfect album.

Maria did an amazing job capturing our wedding and we can’t recommend her enough!

Going with Maria for our wedding photography was the best decision we could make!!! She was super accommodating and really nice to work with. Me and my husband are really not into posing and are super camera shy, but Maria made sure to not make us awkward with all the posing and still covered every minor detail of each ceremony. Be it the wedding rituals or cocktail dinner party, she captured everything so nicely… honestly, when everyone was busy dancing, she used to just sneak in and click and we wouldnt even realize she was around, which was really cool coz she got all the candid shots real nice. Not just us, but all our guests were also super impressed with the way she worked and the pictures were just perfect!

I knew when I first spoke to Maria on the phone that she was the right fit to photograph our wedding. Her journalistic approach to photography is exactly what I was looking for. It's clear to see from her photos that she captures real feelings and emotions. Aside from her creative skills, she is a very kind person to work with also made my wedding day go smoothly. I felt like I made a friend rather than hiring a service.
I don't know how she manages to be everywhere at once, but she was able to capture every special moment that day. I tend to be a very critical person regarding photography since I myself am an amateur photographer. Maria photographed our wedding at the Valley Green Inn last month and I couldn't be happier with our photos!

1. Professional: Maria was extremely professional. She always responded to all my emails promptly. She and her assistant were on time and ready to go, they worked together to scope out good backdrops, and they were also just really nice, fun, chill people to have around on the wedding day (this is important! you don't want drama-queen vendors!)

2. Photo Quality: Maria has a great eye. The photos on her blog/site/Instagram are a really good representation of her work, She knows how to capture the "key moments" and she's able to edit the photos to make them really stand out. I'm not the most photogenic person and I'm usually kinda meh about photos of myself, but I was surprised by how many of my wedding photos I loved!

3. Turnaround Time: Maria edited the photos and had them back to us in a matter of a few weeks, which is unbelievable. I have friends who got married months before us who are still waiting on their photos from other photographers.

4. Price/Value: Maria is a steal. Seriously. She's young and just starting out, so her prices are extremely reasonable, especially given the quality of her work.

Maria Garth was recommended to us by a very successful wedding photographer. She is very talented, down-to-earth and flexible. I had several conversations with her before actually meeting her in person to explain our requirements. She is a great listener and very puntual to the meetings. She took time out of her schedule to visit our house, the park near our house etc to choose spots for the shoot. She built quite a rapport with my entire family, blending well with them to take wonderful natural pictures. She has amazing perspective and was firing away ideas and options of the photos she could click. On the day of the wedding, she made sure she covered everyone in her pictures. For someone so young, the professionalism she exibited was surprising - she sent an initial set of pictures to us a few days after the wedding and they totally blew away. The rest of the pictures were just as mind-blowing. She went a step further and created a short slideshow as well for us, which was the best thing for my friends with attention spans of 5-year olds:D. I had issues with my computer and hence had trouble downloading the pictures on my side, and Maria offered several options and a house visit to get them over to me by DVD's(thankfully, my husband was able to access them without no issues what so ever!). I was very happy to engage Maria - she brought her bubbly spirit, fresh ideas, sweet nature, great professionalism to the most wonderful occasion of my life. I would highly recommend her to everyone.
