We worked with Margot for our engagement shoot and an entire wedding weekend. Each shoot was a blast to do and Margot kept us feeling comfortable the whole time which made the photos look that much more natural. She put in so much effort at our event to be everywhere and capture everything and the results all came out beautifully!

Between chatting about possible locations to being flexible with timing, Margot was always easy to talk to so that everything went smoothly even when wedding stress and situations came up! From the very beginning, Margot was one of our best wedding decisions. Within our first interview with her, she was attentive and genuine in wanting to know who we were as a couple. There are a lot of great photographers (and Margot's photos speak for themselves), but we wanted a photographer that we felt comfortable with sharing our most intimate day. Her communication leading up to the wedding was stellar, and we trusted her wholeheartedly. On the day-of, she and Carla were phenomenal and put us at ease during the posed/portrait sessions - it was like having two friends shooting our wedding. Even with full-access shooting everything, they were never in the way and blended in beautifully. And once we got the photos back - holy crap! Margot's eye is incredible, and the results of what she captured were worth every penny. In fact, Margot is priceless. We were astounded at how gorgeous she made us and our wedding look, and while there won't be another wedding, we would hire Margot again in a heartbeat.

Booking Margot as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! She was also one of the first people we booked -- a friend recommended her shortly after we got engaged and before I was really thinking about booking vendors (calling Margot just a "vendor" does not do her justice...she was so much more to our wedding :). Although I did research and looked at other options, Margot's portfolio stood out -- her use of light was gorgeous and her photos were emotional and artistic rather than the typical posed wedding photo. When Margot and I spoke for the first time, she sealed the deal with her personality and enthusiasm. She was always quick to respond and even sent us a Christmas gift! On the day of the wedding, Margot was an absolute JOY to work with. She was professional and fun and creative. My whole family loved her! The wedding day was stressful and she was so pleasant and eased any nerves and tension. We just got the teaser album last week and the photos are AMAZING. They are gorgeous and everything we could have asked for. Margot has a very special way of capturing so much emotion in a single shot. I am not surprised that the photos are amazing -- you can tell that Margot is an artist when you meet her. It's hard to describe but she is very special.
