  Margot is an amazing person to work with; not only is she extremely talented behind the shutter but she also just knows how to make everyone feel natural, comfortable while she's capturing everything. We were lucky to have hired her for our wedding and honestly can't imagine asking anyone else to do it. The photos turned out great and we are both happy she was a part of our big day.   Margot is great!!!

  We worked with Margot for our engagement shoot and an entire wedding weekend. Each shoot was a blast to do and Margot kept us feeling comfortable the whole time which made the photos look that much more natural. She put in so much effort at our event to be everywhere and capture everything and the results all came out beautifully!
  
  On top of the amazing photos, she is a joy to be around and to work with. Between chatting about possible locations to being flexible with timing, Margot was always easy to talk to so that everything went smoothly even when wedding stress and situations came up! We would gladly work with her again :)

  Stress free, creative, and wildly talented photographer

  Margot is the best. Period. She's smart, creative and a talented photographer. But she also has that rare ability to make anyone feel at ease. Like many Grooms, I don't love having my picture taken. Margot helped us both be confident in how the photos would turn out, and was passionate about documenting our special day. If you're considering working with her, you'd be wrong to choose anyone else.

  Margot is the best. Period. She's smart, creative and a talented photographer. But she also has that rare ability to make anyone feel at ease.   Amazing experience, fabulous photos

  The incredible quality of Margot’s photos coupled with her genuine kindness made it very easy for my fiancé and I to select her to do our engagement photos. From our initial emails to our in-person interaction, we clicked, which made the experience so comfortable and fun.
  I would certainly recommend Margot for your photos and events! Such talent and so easy to work with!!

  One of the best wedding decisions we made.

  From the very beginning, Margot was one of our best wedding decisions. Within our first interview with her, she was attentive and genuine in wanting to know who we were as a couple. There are a lot of great photographers (and Margot's photos speak for themselves), but we wanted a photographer that we felt comfortable with sharing our most intimate day. Her communication leading up to the wedding was stellar, and we trusted her wholeheartedly. On the day-of, she and Carla were phenomenal and put us at ease during the posed/portrait sessions - it was like having two friends shooting our wedding. Even with full-access shooting everything, they were never in the way and blended in beautifully. And once we got the photos back - holy crap! Margot's eye is incredible, and the results of what she captured were worth every penny. In fact, Margot is priceless. We were astounded at how gorgeous she made us and our wedding look, and while there won't be another wedding, we would hire Margot again in a heartbeat.

  We're so thankful to have found Margot to capture our wedding day. She was referred to me by my bridesmaid, and after seeing her portfolio, I knew I had to have this photographer be part of our big day. She met with us to walk the venue and responded to emails promptly if we had any questions. On the day of, she was amazing and made us and all our guests feel as if a close friend was taking our photos. It makes us happy to go over our wedding photos and relive the day all over again. You can see her passion in her work and she truly captures the individual's personality. You'll love her as much as we do! :)

  Booking Margot as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! She was also one of the first people we booked -- a friend recommended her shortly after we got engaged and before I was really thinking about booking vendors (calling Margot just a "vendor" does not do her justice...she was so much more to our wedding :). Although I did research and looked at other options, Margot's portfolio stood out -- her use of light was gorgeous and her photos were emotional and artistic rather than the typical posed wedding photo. When Margot and I spoke for the first time, she sealed the deal with her personality and enthusiasm. She was always quick to respond and even sent us a Christmas gift! On the day of the wedding, Margot was an absolute JOY to work with. She was professional and fun and creative. My whole family loved her! The wedding day was stressful and she was so pleasant and eased any nerves and tension. We just got the teaser album last week and the photos are AMAZING. They are gorgeous and everything we could have asked for. Margot has a very special way of capturing so much emotion in a single shot. I am not surprised that the photos are amazing -- you can tell that Margot is an artist when you meet her. It's hard to describe but she is very special. I can't wait to see the rest of the photos but I am sure we will be thrilled! I would recommend her to anyone!

  If I could give Margot more than 5 stars I would, add at least another 5. From our first conversation to our last departing words she and Carla has been a personal pleasure to have around and unwavering professionalism. By far and above all of our vendors she was the easiest to work with, just give her your vision, ideas, and locations then let her work her magic. Her passion in her craft shows at every moment, she will capture those moment of blissful joy to "where did she go to get that shot". We ran into some unexpected difficulties, namely stand still traffic, and Margot's quick thinking enabled us to capture some amazing photos that we didn't exactly plan for by having Carla drive the car while we walked and took pictures to our shooting location which maximized our photo time. Even though this was Margot's first Chinese and Vietnamese wedding she did her homework and captured all the important moments. All of the participants of the wedding loved the pictures and highly recommends Margot and Carla for any photography needs. No detail is ever overlooked and truly thoughtfully done by Margot, even the USB with our wedding pictures was the most beautifully packaged that I have ever seen. Don't hesitate to book Margot, you will not regret your decision, well only if she is unavailable and you miss out.

I heard of her through a friend years back and in my mind, I was already set on having Margot on board when my time came. From our first conversation to our last goodbye, she and her fun personality was crucial in keeping the happiness of a wedding the highlight of the day amidst the chaos that came with planning and executing a big celebration. She and her second shooter, Carla, not only took the best candid shots but made us forget about any frustrations, leaving behind only happy memories with friends and family. Margot didn't have any experience with Chinese or Vietnamese wedding (ours was a mix) but she did her research so that she would not miss capturing any important details. Everyone from family to bridal party to anyone who interacted with Margot and Carla gave them glorious remarks and would highly recommended them for any future photography needs.

Margot is incredibly personable, responsive, and professional. Meeting her a few months before the wedding for our engagement shoot was a great way for us to meet and become comfortable with each other before the wedding - I definitely recommend this! Throughout the planning process and entire wedding weekend, Margot was extremely flexible and willing to work with any and all of our vendors to make the whole event seamless and get the most amazing shots. Not to mention our entire wedding party and families loved her!   I'm a wedding coordinator, who had the pleasure of working with Margot on a 2-city multi-cultural wedding on a hot day! Margot was friendly from the start and easy to partner with. She was swift on her feet when table-toasting came around, which was so crucial b/c she had less than 2 seconds to get the right shot in very crowded spaces. I enjoyed her enthusiasm and fun personality when things got chaotic, and her keen communication when going from Point A to Point B. I'd be happy to work with Margot again, as she was a wonderful vendor to tagteam with!

  I cannot say enough about Margot! We completely lucked out that she spends a few weeks every year in New Orleans just in time for our destination wedding! She was an absolute delight to work with (and as a groom anything to take some pressure off the bride on the big day is always appreciated). She has such a great easy-going personality that really puts everyone at ease and makes the day go so smoothly. Everyone was saying how much fun she was. We had a very hectic day planned and went all over the place in New Orleans, and Margot hung in there and was somehow able to capture every moment. She made our day so incredibly special. And the pictures are simply unbelievable. She has such an artistic eye and caught so many special moments that we will be able to look back and cherish. We just got the photos back and cannot stop looking at them. Her eye for lighting and perspective are truly a gift. This is especially true since the wedding was destination and we were figuring out practically all of our photos the day of, including our incredible photo shoot at city park (including our first look) where we had to call an audible in the fourth quarter because of rain the previous day and shoot at an entirely different location than the one planned. Margot found the perfect spot on the fly with just minutes before the bride showed up! She was just spectacular, and it shows in her work. We will be forever grateful that she was there to capture our big day. If you are getting married, just do yourself a favor and hire Margot. I assure you, you won't be disappointed!

  Holy smokes, where to begin! Margot is an absolute dream to work with. Her work is amazing and her ability to capture the tiny moments that others miss is uncanny. Every photo is deliciously beautiful and expertly framed. More importantly, she is bursting with all the good traits you want in the person who follows you around for 10 hours on your wedding day - she is so charming and fun and can get a smile out of anyone. She is quick in placing and shooting big groups (so people don't get antsy) and is thoughtful and discrete in letting the little personal moments play out. Margot doesn't miss a beat. She captured our big day as perfectly as I remember it and I couldn't be happier. Margot started out as our photographer and quickly became our friend. The absolute best.

  Holy smokes, where to begin! Margot is an absolute dream to work with. Her work is amazing and her ability to capture the tiny moments that others miss is uncanny. Every photo is deliciously beautiful and expertly framed. More importantly, she is bursting with all the good traits you want in the person who follows you around for 10 hours on your wedding day - she is so charming and fun and can get a smile out of anyone. She is quick in placing and shooting big groups (so people don't get antsy) and is thoughtful and discrete in letting the little personal moments play out. Margot doesn't miss a beat. She captured our big day as perfectly as I remember it and I couldn't be happier. Margot started out as our photographer and quickly became our friend. The absolute best.

  If you're considering Margot for your upcoming engagement and/or wedding photos, book her now - you will be so happy with the results! She recently shot our engagement photos in Austin, TX (she came out of her way, even though she was shooting a wedding in Waco the following weekend). Both my fiancé and I aren't very good in front of the camera, but boy, did Margot do wonders. She made us feel so comfortable, both with her and with each other. She did a wonderful job making us laugh throughout the whole shoot, creating a mood that was relaxed, lighthearted, and enjoyable. Her humor gave way to so many candid shots that looked natural and beautiful. The poses that she also suggested were unique and creative, making the photos much more special than I could ever imagine. She did a phenomenal job capturing our happy romance.   Margot was extremely professional yet calm and relaxed at the same time. We had a blast celebrating with her and were blown away by our pictures. All of our friends and family are in love with them as well. They are more unique and beautiful than we thought was possible!

  Not only were we pleased with everything Margot did, but all of our family members & friends continue to compliment our pictures and "our lovely photographer". She was extremely professional, but also made everyone feel comfortable. Nothing felt forced and the pictures came out great! She is very talented and we have so many wonderful memories to look back at.
