We initially hired Marcy for our engagement photos, and we so enjoyed the photos and the experience of working with her that we asked her back for our reception. She balances giving us directions in order to put us in the best lighting with the best backgrounds and letting us just pose or act out whatever we feel like in the moment. During the reception, she was managing to get everyone included and even take photos on peoples’ phones so they’d have immediate access. She also offered to come by our house to take photos of us with our cats, and sent us some sneak peek photos so we didn’t have to wait for the full set to be edited/compiled :) Everyone we heard from loved her, and we can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a photographer!

My wife and I couldn’t have better things to say about Marcy. When we were looking for a photographer for our wedding, we really wanted an engagement shoot to go along with our day of photography. Marcy was able to provide us with an engagement shoot in addition to 8 hours of day-of photography for what we thought was an absolutely reasonable price, particularly relative to what other photographers charge. Marcy recommended a great location/itinerary for our engagement shoot in Boston and we were able to get all the photos we were hoping to get as well as get familiar with Marcy before the big day. On our wedding day, Marcy found some absolutely beautiful locations and angles at our venue for stunning photos. With our 8-hours with Marcy, we had plenty of time to capture all the photos we wanted starting with getting-ready and lasting all the way through dancing. Marcy was super friendly, energetic, and overall so easy to work with both at our engagement session and on our wedding day. She was a great person to have by your side throughout the day. After the wedding, Marcy gave us a preview of some of the wedding photos a couple days after the wedding and got us the full set of ~1000 photos within 3 weeks of the wedding. All the photos came out absolutely amazing. We’re so happy that we ended up finding Marcy. She’s the best!

Cannot recommend Marcy enough as your photographer of choice for any event. Marcy photographed our wedding in Maine and she took beautiful pictures while making us feel like ourselves. I wish I lived closer to the Boston area so that I could use Marcy for more milestone events to be photographed.

We had the best experience working with Marcy during our wedding. We had Marcy shoot our ceremony and stay through our cocktail reception. She was organized in running through our requested combinations of guest groupings for formal photos, and also was wonderfully creative in getting shots of just my husband and me. Because of restrictions in place due to COVID-19, we held our wedding in a modern restaurant; Marcy used the unique aesthetics and lighting of the space to get some gorgeous editorial shots of us. She made us feel and look so glamorous! Our final photos were a varied mix of close-ups, portraits, and wide shots. The color photos were accurate to the true color profile, and captured the right vibrancy (perfect for us, since that complemented my dress, which was a stark white), and the black-and-white photos were both romantic and dramatic. She also captured a selection of candids of our guests enjoying drinks and conversation. Our wedding was the first time we met Marcy in person, and she brought such fun, positive energy to our evening.

Marcy is the best! She did both our engagement photo session and our wedding. She has the best personality and is so easy-going and fun to hang out with. She makes you feel so comfortable and you almost forget she’s taking your pictures, it feels more like you’re just hanging out with a friend who is making you laugh. Her pictures are also amazing, she takes perfect candid shots that don’t feel too posed or portrait-y. We also had a videographer at the wedding, and even though he and Marcy didn’t meet until the day-of, they worked really well together, and Marcy knew how to get her still shots with the video camera nearby.

We had the BEST experience with Marcy for our wedding! During the planning process our date changed a few times and Marcy was able to accommodate all the changes and was so pleasant to work with. On our wedding day Marcy provided us with such a great experience, as promised she made the obligatory photos go by super smoothly and painlessly :) She ended staying all night and captured so many amazing memories! The next day we got SO many compliments from our guests about our photographer and how amazing she was. We were so pleased with all the pictures and how beautiful they came out. We HIGHLY recommend Marcy for weddings!

Marcy was an absolute joy to work with for our May 26th, 2018 wedding. My husband and I had been to a friend's wedding that she photographed and loved her energy. Their photos were gorgeous and we quickly asked for the reference when we got engaged.

In the fall we worked with Marcy for our engagement shoot. I think we laughed the whole time because we had so much fun getting to know Marcy. We ended up introducing her to Shake Shack because we didn't want the night to end. The photos captured our personality and gave us the candid shots we were looking for while still getting some of those portraits for mom and dad.
Over the next few months we stayed in contact and Marcy provided us with an organized form to fill out so she could be sure she captured all of the shots we wanted.

The day of the wedding it was so easy and smooth. She was with us the whole day and everyone wanted to be her friend, especially the grandmothers :) During the wedding and reception we never noticed her taking our picture yet she caught all of our special moments.

We are so in love with how our photos came out and will treasure them forever. I cannot tell you how many complements I have received on them already. Marcy is - in a word - AMAZING. She immediately makes you feel comfortable, she's super friendly, and most importantly - she takes beautiful pictures!
