Marchi was really wonderful to work with. He was recommended to us by friends and when we were picking out my fiance's ring, he could tell that I was a little bit more reserved. He asked what stones I liked best and when I said opals, pulled out a few opals and moonstones that he had bought without having a design in mind. Together, we designed my wedding band! It's exactly what I hoped for and I spend most of my days staring at it and am so pleased I get to look at it for the rest of my days, remembering the commitment I made to my best friend. From my engagement ring to our wedding bands, Marchi was fantastic. He runs a small little jewelry store on Walnut that barely contains his big personality. He spent hours working with us on the design of my engagement ring and did several consultations with us about the wedding bands. His work is impeccable and totally custom, which we love. I receive nothing but compliments for both my engagement ring and wedding ring. He also has no budget requirements and isn't pushy at all. He makes the process totally enjoyable.

John Marchi created my engagement ring, wedding band and my husband's wedding band. I cannot recommend him enough. For my engagement ring, he reset an heirloom stone. He was incredibly respectful and made the most stunning ring. We knew we had to go back to him for our wedding bands. My husband's was fairly simple yellow gold and it came out stunning. He made him feel comfortable despite not being too excited about jewelry. I, on the other hand, was a mess about my wedding band. I could not decide what I wanted and dropped it back off to John THREE times before my wedding picking it up literally the morning of my rehearsal. John was nothing but the perfect professional - helping me figure out exactly what I wanted, giving me advice, calming me down and making all the changes at super speed so that I would have the perfect ring for my wedding. Marchi is an incredible jeweler and person and we can't wait to return to use him for the rest of our jewelry needs.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. My engagement ring brings me endless compliments from strangers, even after wearing it for nearly 2 years. Best value, service, experience. We love working with John, his personal customization from beginning to end is one of a kind. The value can't be beat, I was blown away by what we got for our money in regards to the wedding bands - he surprised us by adding diamonds all the way around my band when we thought we just paid for half way!

I used to work near jewelers Row and when my fiancé and I started thinking engagement, this little shop on Walnut Street caught my eye. It's little, features local and independent jeweler's work so it doesn't just have the typical big shop engagement ring standards, but unusual creations and artier jewelry, as well. Aside from the selection, the other thing that sets this shop apart is john, the owner. He provides reasonable prices for high-quality jewelry. He will make you anything you'd like. He's knowledgeable, friendly, and is not trying to rip you off. I did an online price check for the items we bought from him versus other vendors, and he'd comparable, if not less. My fiancé bought my engagement ring there, we just bought (and got) our wedding rings from him. And I couldn't find any earrings I liked out there, so he made me ones we designed together. He not only lets me stop in to get my ring cleaned whenever I want but encourages it because it looks so beautiful when it's sparkling. We like him so much, we've referred two couple to him. If you go to John at Marchi, you won't be disappointed.

John was a pleasure to work with. Very transparent and honest guy. He took the time to listen to what we were looking for in my engagement ring and helped us find something that would work within our budget and be amazing. He is very professional and clearly knows what he is doing.

We love our rings and they're great quality. John came recommended by 2 couples (friends) who recently got married and overall we're very satisfied. Only a few points: the groom's ring may have been overpriced, based on our later research. We also didn't get a call when the rings were ready as John said we would.
