I'm Marcela Pulido and I'm a wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon that specializes in documentary style storytelling for a fun, stress-free day!
I have a modern approach to capturing timeless images; seamlessly blending easy directional posing, candid moments, and artistric portraiture. My photography style is romantic and nostalgic... with a dash of grit.
Weddings are all about bringing your community together to celebrate. Whether you see that happening as a giant multi-day festival type of event or an intimate backyard wedding or even an outdoorsy elopement with an epic landscape, I'm down for it all. From the sentimental first look to the laughter-filled toasts and everything in between, these are the kind of moments that deserve to be captured. Bellyaching laughter and tear-stained cheeks… this isn't about those super posed, stiff moments, nah. I'm talking about real love. Yeah, I’ll capture that.
In my spare time I'm binge watching bad tv shows, probably playing Mass Effect for the millionth time, and taking my dog Rupert out on lengthy walks around my Portland neighborhood. I like eating Mexican food because it reminds me of home, drinking mezcal, and seeing live music. I do what I can to help support the local BIPOC community as best as I can and strive to be inclusive and diverse in my portfolio. I absolutely adore Marcela she's very sweet, funny & friendly. I worked with her on a wedding & photo shoot, and she was so easy to work with.
