Mara was a fantastic photographer for both our engagement session & wedding. She's incredibly calm and organized, and kept in great touch with us about our plans for the day. What drew us to Mara's portfolio were her candid shots of people - guests & wedding parties alike - and we were really happy especially with all the casual portraits from the day (as well as the composed ones of course.) We were looking for a photographer who would document, rather than direct, and that's exactly Mara's style - she has a great eye for the little moments as well as the 'big events', and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!

Mara did a wonderful job photographing our wedding. Beautiful photos both posed and candid during the ceremony and reception. Fantastic value and a pleasure to work with. A low-key personality, which matched my own low-key approach to the wedding process!

Mara took some great photos. Group photos were her strong suit and her willingness to trek down to the public garden for the group photos was a plus!

The more I look at our photos (we've been married 1.5 years) the more I'm impressed with Mara's work. The photos of the two of us are amazing and timeless. I've been to several wedding's since our wedding and have yet to see a single photograph form those weddings that is is even close to the quality that Mara gave us. I wouldn't hesitate to use Mara again and I would recommend her to anyone getting married. You will not be disappointed.

Mara was such a pleasure to work with! She worked with us to put together a package that worked for our small budget. She was pleasant, flexible, and somehow took the most amazing pictures without us really even noticing that she was there! (I suppose that's a sign of a great photographer.) She worked hard to include everyone in photographs and to make the most of the little sunlight that was left (because we had scheduled our wedding so late at night). The wedding was less than a week ago, and we've seen some beautiful "teaser" shots already. I have no doubt that the rest will be as beautiful.

Mara did a terrific job photographing our wedding! We love her style and the photos she got--she captured lots of honest, happy moments. She was very willing to work with us on doing fewer posed shots and focusing more on candids. Her packages all include an engagement session, which we hadn't been planning on but turned out to be a really nice way to get to know her and get some nice family shots. We'd definitely work with her again!

Mara was a pleasure to work with! She was calm on the day of the wedding (and leading up to it, of course), even when we were behind schedule for the photos. We loved her photos of the kids at the wedding, and the albums she helped us put together are exactly what we wanted. It took a while for us to get our albums, but they were well worth the wait.
