I had found Elizabeth through my sister in law, who was referred to her by her cousin- clearly her work speaks for itself! She is an incredible makeup artist that makes you look like a better version of yourself. I love playing with makeup and am extremely picky when "allowing" someone else to paint my face ;) She did a beautiful job with my bridal application as well as some of the girls in our wedding that never wear a stitch of makeup. She is amazing, and I will definitely be working with her in the future.

Elizabeth is the best makeup artist!!! She is so incredably talented!! I cannot say enough great things about her!! She helped do so much besides makeup too!! My hairstylist the day of my wedding unfortunately didn't make my bridesmaids hair as great as it could be. Sure enough Elizabeth (sick as a dog) stepped right in and fixed a handful of my bridesmaids hair!! I cannot thank her enough for helping not only making me feel gorgeous but also my bridesmaids!!

Elizabeth at Makeup Chicago is great. She did my make for my summer 2011 wedding along with the makeup for my bridal party. All of the girls loved their makeup, especially the airbrushing. Thanks to her help my bridal party looked stunning and I felt like a million dollars! Elizabeth was easy to work with and reliable as well. If you are looking for special event makeup I would highly recommend her!

Everyone's eyes are on the bride on the wedding day and Elizabeth did such an amazing job with my makeup. She used airbrush makeup technology and she definitely got the look that I wanted. It was natural yet glamorous.

I met Liz through a friend of mine who had her makeup done by her, so I already knew she was excellent. She did my mom’s, my sister’s, one bridesmaid, my husband’s sister’s and my makeup. All of us looked fantastic. She did a great job with my sister, who was in a really bad car accident the previous week and had a huge lump and bruise on her forehead. Plus, even though she was working on so many other people’s makeup, she paid extra attention to me… and I can truly say that my makeup has NEVER looked better than it did on that day. It lasted all night; I never had to touch it up. It was PERFECT!

Elizabeth was great. My cousin used her for make-up and loved her. The airbrush stayed on all night, without smearing. It was well worth the money. She did a trial for a small fee, and was able to travel to the salon that did my hair. I told her how I wanted the make-up and she did exactly what I wanted.

Elizabeth Bilow is amazing, so amazing that I wanted my 900th review to be on her. I was recommended to her and she was so friendly and professional on the phone when i booked my trial with her - she's an amazing makeup artist but mostly, because I wanted to check out airbrush foundations since I've heard so many things about it.

Her resume is so impressive - she has been trained by celebrity makeup artist and worked for many artistry lines including Mac, Lorac, Senna, Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, Hard Candy, Shiseido. Her knowledge is just amazing.

She was quick and very effective. When I finally got to see the airbrush foundation at work and everything, I was taken aback and couldn't stop looking in the mirror. Her prices are a steal for what you get. I've got her booked for my wedding day. She is located in the north suburbs but does apparently travel around the Chicagoland area. Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional - I look forward to the actual day with her.

*Edit: Did I mention that after my trial, she went ahead and offered to do my engagement photoshoot makeup for FREE - what an amazing person!! LOVED IT and I looked beautiful all over again.

*Final Edit: Elizabeth did makeup for myself, 6 bridesmaids and sprayed foundation for my mother - all within 4 hours. She was efficient but her work was flawless and she really made each girl stand out and truly glow. I loved my makeup and received so many compliments on my wedding day - thanks again, Elizabeth! AND my wedding went on all day long - from doing makeup at 6am and daytime ceremony/reception to an evening reception that lasted until midnight - so did our makeup!! And of course, she uses waterproof eye stuff so even if you shed a tear during the wedding, it won't ruin your makeup AND Elizabeth also offered to do my makeup for my Trash the Dress photoshoot for free, too - what an amazing person!!

Elizabeth was wonderful!! She added me and my maid of honor the week before my wedding as my previous vendor had canceled. She made me feel comfortable during the whole process even though I normally do not wear makeup. In addition, she packed a touch up kit for me the day of the wedding. The makeup stayed all day and looked natural!
