Rachel did my wedding makeup for a late spring outdoor wedding in May 2021 and she was AMAZING!! I can't say enough good things about the entire experience working with her from beginning to end. She is professional and incredibly personable! I was somewhat worried since I wasn't from the area, I have a mixed skin tone that can sometimes be tricky to work with, and I wanted something much more light and natural than most styles. She put me at ease and knew how to make me shine! She really strived to understand what I wanted, and adjusted after the trial to make it perfect. Expectations were set clearly at the beginning, communication was great at all times, she was very professional and on time the day of. She was so efficient and accommodating that she had time to also do one of my bridesmaids who decided last minute that she wanted her makeup done (after seeing Rachel's work on me and the mothers). The makeup lasted perfectly the entire evening and I got so many compliments on how natural and flattering it looked. Bride, mothers and bridesmaid were all very happy with our respective makeups and loved having Rachel as part of our wedding. We would all highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an incredibly talented makeup artist, professional experienced vendor, and just a great person to work with overall!

First of all, Rachel is so down to earth and fun - just someone you immediately feel comfortable around. I could tell this during my trial with her. SECONDLY holy moly can she make you look like a goddesss!!!!!! I left my trial almost speechless at just how great I felt, and that the makeup looked. I was so sad to take it off at home so my now hubby wouldn’t see! Prior to the wedding, Rachel was great about communicating back and forth to nail down a timeline & order for services. Morning of, she was early to the salon and fully set up, which allowed us to get a jump start on services. When I say every girl looked like the best possible version of themselves it’s no exaggeration. My wedding makeup was legitimately perfect. I received compliments on it all night (including the lashes!) and it lasted through photos & ceremony outdoor, lots of food, and dancing! I would 100% recommend Rachel for your wedding makeup artist!

I want to start off by saying I RARELY write reviews, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to rave about Rachel Lorraine Artistry.

Rachel’s work is STUNNING. I never enjoy getting my makeup done because I never like it (I’m sure a lot of you can relate). When I looked in the mirror after Rachel finished my makeup, I was shocked with how beautiful I felt/looked.

When I got back to my house after my trial and stepped out of the car, my fiancé was stunned. I have never seen him react to my physical appearance in such a positive way. He was blown away (and he normally doesn’t like when I wear a lot of makeup)!

Throughout both my bridal shower and wedding day, women & MEN! were gushing over my makeup the entire time! I was taken aback by the amount of compliments I was getting. I was hearing words like “supermodel” and “breathtaking” left and right. Not to mention, every single bridesmaid and my mom LOVED their makeup with zero complaints/changes, which is few and far between.

Rachel also left myself and each bridesmaid with the lip color that she used on us so that we were able to touch up throughout the evening, which was such a thoughtful gesture! I know my lips were nice and rosy pink for all of my photos. 😉

Oh, and I can’t forget the most important part... My makeup stayed on ALL DAY which was magical as well!!!! I got married outside in 86 degree weather and the makeup did. not. budge!!!!! I even had some “wedding week stress breakouts” on my face and you couldn’t see a thing! My girls and I kept calling her a “magician” all day long.

Not only is Rachel amazing at what she does, but she is kind, reliable, responsible, and professional. I could go on and on! If you are in need of a makeup artist, book Rachel IMMEDIATELY! ❤️

Rachel did an amazing job on my bridal makeup as well as the makeup for my bridesmaids and mom. Despite having to do our makeup very early in the morning everything stayed in place and looked great all day! Rachel was great to work with and easy to talk to. I highly recommend using her for your wedding makeup!

Rachel was AMAZING. She was so professional, kind, fun, & great to work with. My husband and I got married in January, so as you can imagine, weather is so unpredictable. When we went outside to take photos after the ceremony, it started sleeting rain but all of my bridesmaids & I's makeup was untouched & still looked flawless. This is one of those one in a lifetime moments that you will look back on forever, so it is worth the investment!!! You truly get what you pay for.
