My Bridal look was glamorous and flawless. I loved it!

When I began my search for my wedding beauty team I sifted through dozens of MUA’s but I was having a very difficult time finding someone because I am very picky when it comes to make-up. I used to dabble as a make-up artist but found that I didn’t have the passion for it and stuck to doing my own makeup but didn’t want the stress of doing my own makeup for my wedding day. I found Maryam on a bride forum and the first thing I noticed about her portfolio is that she did makeup well for people of all colors and age groups. Doing makeup on a young woman is very different than doing makeup for the mother or grandmother of the bride. Skin changes, certain looks don’t work well on skin which is more wrinkled, etc. Secondly, doing makeup for film is SO different than doing everyday makeup. I needed someone who knew all of these things – and Maryam sure did! Our trial took longer than expected because we spent so much time chatting, she is a genuinely great person. I have some allergies and Maryam went through every item of product she planned to use on me to ensure it was safe for me. Loved my trial and she did exactly what I asked for. Fast forward to a month before the wedding when I changed my mind and wanted a more dramatic look. I knew Maryam had the skills so I trusted her to completely change my wedding look the day of the wedding without a second trial – she is that good! Maryam did the makeup for me, my mom, my sister, and my husband’s mom on the day of the wedding and everyone looked wonderful. We got married on a very hot day and my makeup did not budge! Do not hesitate to hire her – she is the best!

Maryam did an amazing job on my wedding day makeup. She also did my bridesmaids makeup as well as my mother and mother in law's makeup. Everyone was looking great on the wedding day and my bridesmaids even said they would love to use her again! In total, Maryam completed 7 makeup looks on 7 totally unique and different girls and she did such a great job on each one of us. The most incredible makeup artist. What would I have done without my angel Maryam? My makeup lasted all night, it didn't budge and i have the most troublesome oily skin. I landed the cover of Aroos magazine and my photographer Navid Soheilian was absolutely stunned by what a magnificent job Maryam did. I'm so lucky i found her!!!!!

I chose maryam as my makeup artist for my wedding in July 2014, after reading great reviews online and getting a makeup trial done. She did both my makeup and hair. For my hair, I was very particular about my bun to be a certain way. Maryam promised me that she would do her best to give me the look I wanted. She lived up to her promise and paid attention to every little detail while getting me ready. She is very professional, thorough, patient, easily approachable and a good listener. She's great at her job. I'm so happy she was there for me and I would love to work with her again. I would totally recommend her to anyone.
