  Stop What You're Doing and Hire Maryam!

  When I began my search for my wedding beauty team I sifted through dozens of MUA’s but I was having a very difficult time finding someone because I am very picky when it comes to make-up. I used to dabble as a make-up artist but found that I didn’t have the passion for it and stuck to doing my own makeup but didn’t want the stress of doing my own makeup for my wedding day. I found Maryam on a bride forum and the first thing I noticed about her portfolio is that she did makeup well for people of all colors and age groups. Doing makeup on a young woman is very different than doing makeup for the mother or grandmother of the bride. Skin changes, certain looks don’t work well on skin which is more wrinkled, etc. Secondly, doing makeup for film is SO different than doing everyday makeup. I needed someone who knew all of these things – and Maryam sure did! Our trial took longer than expected because we spent so much time chatting, she is a genuinely great person. I have some allergies and Maryam went through every item of product she planned to use on me to ensure it was safe for me. Loved my trial and she did exactly what I asked for. Fast forward to a month before the wedding when I changed my mind and wanted a more dramatic look. I knew Maryam had the skills so I trusted her to completely change my wedding look the day of the wedding without a second trial – she is that good! Maryam did the makeup for me, my mom, my sister, and my husband’s mom on the day of the wedding and everyone looked wonderful. We got married on a very hot day and my makeup did not budge! Do not hesitate to hire her – she is the best!

  BEST Makeup Artist Around!

  I was referred to Maryam by my mom, and first meeting her, I knew that she I wanted her as my makeup artist.
  She has such a warm, and genuine personality and you can honestly feel that she loves what she does.
  
  Maryam has such amazing communication skills. She knows that weddings are so important and she always delivers!
  From our trials to the day of the wedding, she was always organized and lifted away any stress that you had. I felt so confident in my makeup and it's hard for me to like any makeup artist.
  
  We laughed the entire time and made me feel so at ease, and that is a quality that is rare to find.
  She is so fantastic on what she does, I swear it's amazing, and I am a picky person, so I can 110% say that she is the best.
  
  She always kept is professional and on the day of my wedding, she was the first to arrive, and made sure that everything was perfect.

  Maryam did an amazing job on my wedding day makeup. She also did my bridesmaids makeup as well as my mother and mother in law's makeup. Everyone was looking great on the wedding day and my bridesmaids even said they would love to use her again! In total, Maryam completed 7 makeup looks on 7 totally unique and different girls and she did such a great job on each one of us. Our makeup stayed on the whole night even through all of the heat and sweat. I even fell asleep with my makeup on and it still looked decent the next day lol. Thanks Maryam!   The most incredible makeup artist. What would I have done without my angel Maryam? My makeup lasted all night, it didn't budge and i have the most troublesome oily skin. I landed the cover of Aroos magazine and my photographer Navid Soheilian was absolutely stunned by what a magnificent job Maryam did. I'm so lucky i found her!!!!!

  Maryam is awesome! I found her account on Instagram and booked her for my engagement party. She seriously made my day perfect in every way. She's personable and accommodating and my entire family loved her. The number one thing I got compliments on all day and even after was my makeup! Definitely going to book her for my wedding. Can't wait!

  I had the pleasure working with Maryam as my makeup artist for my wedding. I was my own planner for my wedding, and I had to make sure my vendors were friendly and communicating well with myself and my team. And Maryam did that, and beyond! Soon after my makeup trial by Maryam, I knew I had to book her for my big event! She is very professional, extremely understanding, friendly and super comfortable to work with. And not to mention, her work is amazing! I will definitely recommend her!!

  Maryam was so professional and helpful. I had her do my makeup for my wedding and was nervous to have someone I didn't know do it. She listened to my requests, gave me ideas and it turned out amazing. My guests couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful I looked. I would recommend her to anyone who needs to have their makeup done for a special occasion.

For my hair, I was very particular about my bun to be a certain way. Maryam promised me that she would do her best to give me the look I wanted. She lived up to her promise and paid attention to every little detail while getting me ready. She is very professional, thorough, patient, easily approachable and a good listener.
