Love Flynn! I found Makeup by Flynn via my wedding coordinator and could not have been happier. Flynn was not available on my wedding date, so she put me in touch with Yana and Vassilis on her team who came and did a trial with me. Based on results of the trial, it was an instant yes... and by the way, the hair/makeup on my actual wedding was even better! On my wedding day, Yana and Vassilis both arrived on time and the work they did was magic! I had clip-in extensions put in to add drama to my updo, and Vassilis dyed them ahead of the wedding to match my hair color perfectly. Yana's makeup enhanced my natural features and stayed put all day! She gave me a pouf for shine, but honestly I didn't need it. That's how good she is. Flynn was very easy to work with and her team is amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone who is planning their wedding or needs hair/makeup for a special event. Thank you guys!

I had booked hair for a wedding on NYE. I had a whole look planned with a hairstyle I can’t do alone. Flynn followed up and sought payment immediately. In fact, when I delayed my response a day, she emailed asking for the payment. The payment was extremely hefty for getting hair done, but I figured why not for a team featured in vogue. The day of my styling session, I realized I hadn’t heard anything, so I emailed her in the morning about an ETA. I tried a few times given no response. I found her phone number on her instagram and she didn’t respond. When it was 30 minutes until I had to be ready, she called and said she didn’t put my appointment on the calendar at all. She offered to have someone come do my hair in the middle of the wedding, and truly it was just too late. She tried offering someone to come sooner, but again it would have ran me late. At that point, I was an afterthought. I didn’t want to support someone who sought my money but didn’t think of my time traveling to a new place and the help I needed for a wedding. I appreciate her paying back, but I hope going forward she can be considerate of others who pay upfront just because she’s been featured in magazines.
