I came across Melissa through another wedding vendor. I gave her a call and booked her to do my make up without a trial. She did not disappoint, I loved the look she created on me for my special day. She is now my go to artist!!!

Melissa is seriously AMAZING!! She did my wedding makeup so beautifully and it lasted through the entire day! I originally had a different makeup artist scheduled that had a family emergency and had to cancel the day prior to my wedding. Melissa drove all the way to San Diego and did my makeup along with my 6 bridesmaids. I have never felt so beautiful and I couldn't thank Melissa enough for making my wedding day so special. She is so sweet, personable, and talented!

Melissa was the absolute best makeup artist I have ever met. She made me feel so comfortable and confident in every choice I made on our wedding day. I told Melissa up front that I am very particular about my makeup and like it to look a certain way. She completely read my mind and gave me everything and more I could have asked for on my wedding day. I can not explain how TALENTED she is. Thank you so much to Melissa for being our hair and makeup savior for our wedding! We had previously booked a vendor who became pregnant between booking and the wedding, and could no longer travel to the wedding location. We found Melissa < 3 months before the wedding, and not only did she squeeze me in for a hair and makeup trial before the wedding but did a PHENOMENAL job with our hair and makeup. Her squad was on time the day of the wedding and provided an amazingly relaxed setting for our hair and makeup that also allowed us to all sleep in - a miracle in the land of getting ready for weddings! Beyond that, Melissa's hair team was SO fast it was amazing. Melissa was flexible and made all of us feel comfortable with the various makeup styles we wanted (from natural for my mom to more traditional makeup for me, the bride). I would recommend her to anyone getting married in Southern California - I wish I lived closer so we could work together again! Thank you Melissa!

Melissa did a truly beautiful job with my makeup for my engagement photos and wedding. She listened to exactly what I wanted and made me look the best I ever have while still looking like myself! My bridesmaids were all extremely happy with their makeup, as well – it’s also the best I’ve ever seen any of them look! I was so impressed by Make Me Up’s work!!!!! Melissa and Robin and their team were absolutely a dream to work with for my wedding. They were so calm and easy to be around, and they are total rock star stylists. For my hair, I gave Robin a few different ideas, and she was able to bring it together perfectly. During the trial she did a few different styles until we were both in love with it. I didn't have anything specific in mind for makeup, and Melissa just knew what to do to make me look and feel beautiful. My bridesmaids and I were complemented all night.

My SIL decided that morning she wanted her daughter to have her hair done too, and they were able to squeeze her in no problem. Teams I've worked with in the past would have made a big deal about keeping to schedule, but they didn't complain and made it happen.

Melissa did a great job on my wedding day. She was punctual, professional, and has a lot of experience! She did the spray foundation for a flawless look that lasted all day. I would recommend her to anyone. She was able to look at a photo I'd found on Pinterest of my style and duplicate that on me. So easy!
