With Majell’s skill, professionalism, and genuine passion for event planning, hiring MDC Events to plan and coordinate my wedding was one of the best (and easiest) decisions I made during the whole planning process. From the first meeting up to the end of the reception, Majell and her team made sure that our vision was fulfilled. Majell is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in her profession: she answers questions and gives options, she carefully looks over contracts, and she provides input on vendor bids and services.

We had a very tight schedule on the actual day, with a traditional Catholic ceremony and a night-long entertainment program during the reception--it was executed perfectly. During our farewell brunch, some of our family members and guests even told us how impressed they were with Majell and her team. Our dream wedding would not have been accomplished without MDC Events!

Majell did a great job planning and coordinating the event. She developed several event design boards based on my vision and nailed it! Our wedding was so much fun and we didn't stress about anything. Everything was so beautiful and my guests were in awe and we have her to thank!

Majell did a perfect party for our son's 1st birthday party. She made it easy for us.. she answers all of our questions, giving us suggestions from the event venue, vendors on where to get this and that and most especially designing our nautical desert table was the best part!

We had such an amazing experience with Majell. Yes, she was our wedding planner, but she also made our relationship feel like family while maintaining professional boundaries. She listened to everything we wanted to accomplish with our wedding, and provided many options that met our budget. Two days before my wedding, I encountered a problem with my florist regarding my wedding bouquet, and Majell worked hard with the florist to make sure my bouquet turned out better than I had imagined and it did! Not only was the planning process more manageable and "easy" with Majell, but the day-of our wedding was spectacular. We were not stressed at all because Majell took care of everything. I felt like a pampered guest at my own wedding, which I hear is rather rare. Our wedding was perfect. I'd definitely recommend Majell to any couple looking to be able to enjoy their own wedding. Majell was more than a wedding planner to us. She was our listening ear, she calmed our nerves, she steered us from making faux pas. She was really rooting for us, she wanted us happy, that our wedding was her wedding too. She was willing to attend all our vendor meetings even though she had to drive really far. The one thing about Majell was that she was always available and she never made us feel like we were asking too much. We would text her in the middle of the night to settle differences of opinions in regards to invitations, table covers, chargers, photographers, bridesmaid dresses, everything you can think of under the sun. She knew every aspect of wedding planning and the etiquette that it involved. But she also gave us added ideas to make our wedding amazing, like a charging station. The advice she gave us was useful. She was organized, she had timelines ready for us, she politely reminded us of our payments to our vendors, she contacted vendors for us, got us our quotes, she knew the best deals because she's worked with many vendors before. Without her, we would just pick any vendor we found. When it came to the day of the wedding, Majell was on top of her game. She even had to go to LA at 5 in the morning to pick up something for the cake. She was so organized and had everything in place. Everything was on time, all the vendors knew what they were doing and who to talk to. She even had time to tell me I was beautiful. She also helped bustle my dress. My husband and I enjoyed our special day so much and were able to let loose because we knew Majell had our back all the way to the very end. On a side note, she is an excellent photographer. I used and reposted many of the pictures she took during that day. She took the last picture of us at 1am that night and it is of my favorite pictures because it exemplified my relationship with my husband. After the wedding, we even met up for a recap dinner. We found a lifelong friend in Majell!

I had my wedding in Napa ,Ca and she was based in Los Angeles. Majell was very informative about what had to be done at what time during the process of preparing for my wedding. Easy to to contact all the time no matter if I had texted her pretty late. We reached each other through calls and FaceTime . She did an amazing job creating my vision of my very simple rustic wedding. My favorite part was she had such an amazing itinerary for all my vendors and the bridesmaids. Also what and what not to eat in the morning so me this bride would not feel any discomfort on my special day. All in all I'm so glad I asked her to be my wedding planner the best decision I ever made.

Majell was really easy to work with. She made herself available anytime we needed her. She answered all questions in a timely fashion and let us know her honest opinions during the entire wedding planning process. She knows her craft well! When picking an Event Planner, I knew I would have ample interactions with a certain person who will have to deal with my rash decisions through the course of my wedding planning. Let's just say, the time with Majell was what kept me sane through the multitude of decisions and arrangements. She is truely superior at what she does and allows you to be her main focus when she is with you (even when I was well aware of her very busy schedule). I was able to be in contact with her whenever I needed reassurance on the latest decision, and even had options of Skype meetings. You will not regret using her services!!!!
