We had an AMAZING experience! Very professional and made our wedding day unforgettable. They were very flexible with the ever changing covid restrictions. 10/10 recommend!

Grant and his wife/business partner Kai did a fantastic job at our wedding this past September. They were a fun, professional and reliable vendor to work with. They were able to have three different set ups at our venue, the music we wanted was perfectly timed for the ceremony, the MC work was great and people had a lot of fun on the dance floor at our reception. My wife and I are very glad we hired them to be our DJ for our wedding!

My wife & I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with Magnus as our music provider. Wow were they ever terrific! Grant & K'ai were such a nice couple to work with and they made it easy from the start. My wife even had a couple hard to find selections for our re-peat service that Grant was able to find which made it all the more meaningful. Great job and highly recommended. Ralph

I had a DJ cancel on me three weeks before my wedding I had a friend and coworker refer me to Grant and K'ai of Magnus DJ Seattle and they fortunately for me were available and at the most reasonable price i had found. Not only did we have every detail locked in in two days but they also were helping me with things I hadn't even thought of. They were so professional and very flexible. Grant was an amazing MC day of and brought a lot of fun and also kept things moving. After my wedding I was told that it was one of the most fun that most of my guests have been to and I attribute a lot of that to Magnus DJ. You would be lucky to have them as part of your big day or any party in your future!

I can't thank you enough for the crucial roles that you two played on our wedding night. I got SO many compliments on the music that was played (grease was particularly popular!) not to mention the level of professionalism and friendliness.

Great DJ. Very professional from the moment we first contacted him up to the wedding reception. He was flexible with the schedule of events of our day and had music ready and prepared for every step. We gave him a list of songs/genre we preferred for the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner and then asked him to play popular dance songs that would get people dancing and he did all of that perfectly. He played very fun dancing music and was flexible to guests song requests. GREAT MC and pleasure to work with. Would recommend to a friend!

The care and time taken with our wedding from Grant and K'ai was professional and "home" based. We had a party that got people dancing who never dance or slow dance with their partners when they rarely show PDA. And they were one of the highest compliments from our guests because of the low key nature. Thank you both for your awesomeness!!

My husband and I met Grant and Kai, owners of Magnus DJ at the Everett Bridal show in the spring time. For what they sold themselves truly disappoints us. It started with them showing up an hour after their contracted time. They were in a rush to get set up and had problems with our layout of the reception with their equipment. Without consulting our wedding coordinator to rearrange the layout, they started moving tables without asking. The communication with them before the wedding was great via phone conversations and were very excited for the upcoming wedding day. We went over the style of music we want played, and the pronunciations of our names, however during the reception, my wedding coordinator had to ask Grant multiple times to turn down the music a notch so that guests do not have to yell at each other to carry on a conversation. While getting announced as MR and MRS., Grant, the DJ, had mispronounced our last name as well as our families names. We were extremely disappointed as this was one of our big moments to be announced together. If you do decide to go ahead and book them for your wedding do not be surprised that they will cut in front of your own guests to help themselves to your wedding food as well as the wedding desserts that were meant for the guests only. We experienced a lack of professionalism from Magnus DJ and hope that another bride and groom do not go through what we had on our wedding day.
