We have been fortunate to have Ramin photograph our wedding and two daughters' baptisms. Ramin is talented, professional with a true artistic eye . During the wedding and baptismal ceremonies he managed to capture all the special moments during the service without distracting from the sanctity of the events. I was amazed not only at the quality of the work he provided, but also in how quick he prepared the photographs to show us. Every step of the way, he made sure we received just what we wanted . Ramin has captured the moments of many celebrations in my family. He photographed both my children's weddings and the baptisms of my grandchildren, and time after time he delivered with excellence! Above and beyond his skills as a photographer, what makes Ramin stand out from others is his artistic eye and his ability to work with grace and humility. He is able to take charge without imposing himself. He captures the true essence of the subjects he photographs. With Ramin you will receive quality, dependability, professionalism, and all the things you would want in a photographer. But in addition, you will benefit from the emotion he is able to capture in the faces of all the people of all ages that he photographs. He is a "gentle giant" with God-given skills.

I knew Ramin and his photography from my work at UTSA with the Art Collection. At first, I thought that he wouldn't do wedding photography and then I thought I couldn't afford him. I was thrilled when I found out I was wrong on both counts. The thing that I love about Ramin is how he sees people--he has the ability to capture some really beautiful moments that no one else might see.

His prices were extremely reasonable--he did a bridal portrait session and then was willing to travel to Driftwood for the day without any additional costs. He did not charge according to a set time frame (e.g., 4 hours of shooting and then anything else is extra), and he also included prints of the pictures as part of the package. On top of that, I felt very comfortable in telling Ramin what I did and didn't want, and he was incredibly receptive to that. I recommend the Magical Realism studio to everyone!

Ramin photographed my wedding and it was an amazing experience! He was extremely flexible and accommodating, he shot most of the pre-wedding stuff and reception in a candid style as I had requested. He really managed to blend in, some of the people in my wedding party (my husband, sister, and father) absolutely hate to be photographed and Ramin managed to get lots of great shots without making anyone feel awkward. My wedding pictures are amazing, he provided me with a disc with tons of shots just a few days after the event. Ramin was with us and was a great sport for the entire day, he showed up bright and early to photograph my getting ready process and was one of the last to leave the reception late into the night.
I also hired Ramin to photograph my bridal pictures, and they are absolutely stunning. All I was able to articulate to him was that I wanted to look classy, and he really took that vague request and ran with it. We traipsed around the Riverwalk for hours taking tons of shots, and I could not have been happier with the results. I have never felt so beautiful as during that shoot and when I got the disc of photos from it, again just a few days after the shoot. I still have my favorite shot that Ramin printed beautifully and framed for me hanging in my living room, it is absolutely perfect.
I have been so pleased with Ramin's work that I recently hired him to do a set of photos when I was 34 weeks pregnant. As usual, Ramin did not disappoint! His fee was very affordable, the photos were absolutely stunning, and he got me the disc in just a couple of days.
Overall, I highly recommend this photographer. He is extremely talented, affordable, personable, professional, and prompt. With all of the stress of planning for a wedding and then a baby, the photography is one thing that I NEVER had to stress about with Ramin. I plan on continuing to work with him in the future for family portraits.
