When we started looking for photographers for our wedding last June, I was (unpleasantly) surprised at how expensive they all were- it seemed a little crazy combined with all of the other mounting expenses! After a close friend recommended Maddy, we decided that we had to bite the bullet and hoped that the photos would be worth it in the end.
Lo and behold, Maddy did a fantastic job with the photos and we were super pleased with the product in the end. But it was not just the photos that Maddy provided- I was genuinely so blown away by how Maddy ended up playing such a pivotal part of our actual wedding day! Her enthusiasm, kindness, and loving nature were so evident from start until finish. Taking pictures in between our wedding mass and the reception was not just a task that had to be done, rather it was such beautiful and FUN part of the day (so much so that we were not even bothered by the Florida heat). Kyle and I are so grateful for the photos that we have of our special day and even more grateful to Maddy for helping make the day itself so amazingly special for both of us!

Maddy was absolutely INCREDIBLE. From the moment we connected with her, we knew she was it. I had searched high and low for months, after seeing so many washed out, boring photos - Maddy's photography was an absolute breath of fresh air. Her work was full of life, love, energy, emotion and beautiful colors; which I knew was exactly what I wanted! Once Maddy spoke with us on the phone, she felt familiar and comfortable, like an old friend, to which she TRULY did become someone we can consider a friend.

Maddy was there for us with whatever we needed through the entire planning process... She is impeccable with her communication, and whether it was questions, moral support, or just a lighthearted pick me up - she ALWAYS was there for us. Her process was also very easy, straightforward, and her questionnaires and blog posts cover everything your and your spouse might need to know!

Leading up to our day, we didn't get to physically MEET Maddy until the day of our wedding, to which she showed up obviously completely over-prepared (which my Type A appreciates beyond a reasonable doubt), excited, and ready to go with us! The INCREDIBLY warm hug she gave both of us just reinforced what we already knew - she was meant to be with us on our big day!

Maddy kept us laughing, happy, AND she ran THE BEST interference lol. She is a great reader of emotions, situations, and even pulled me (Alex) aside at one point to have a cool down outside because she knew I was a bit overwhelmed by my family. Through the ceremony and reception Maddy and her assistant were GREAT! We got SO many compliments about both of them from our guests - noting that they were SUPER stealth when they needed a shot! Maddy also has an incredible eye, and her vision for photos is next level... She was able to direct us through everything and if you need yourself a hype girl - OH SHE IS IT!!! She’s also an absolute BOSS and will take control of a situation *if need be,* which was also important to us.. She made group/family/bridal party photos quick and painless which was SO needed, and also got a TON of fun shots through the night!

Seeing our shots come to life was spectacular, and when she sent us the sneak peaks we were absolutely FLOORED.... And then seeing our full gallery!? Stunning. Just truly extraordinary. We cannot stop staring at our wedding photos. We share them any chance we get, and so many of our friends and family have asked us how they could use Maddy for their photography needs. Anyone we show our photos to is absolutely taken aback by them, and truly, I think the relationship we created with Maddy shows through in our photos. We were comfortable, excited and genuinely happy! Maddy made our emotions, happiness, and visions come to life through her photos - she is WORTH EVERY SINGLE CENT!

Maddy is second to none! She helped us stay on our timeline as she flawlessly captured every moment of our wedding. The detail photos are incredible! Maddy/Maddness Photography was AMAZING from start to finish. I have been working with her for about 9 months for my engagement and wedding photos. She was quick to respond with any questions via email or text. Her website was super easy to use and was incredibly helpful in keeping all the "paperwork" together in one place. She even let me change in her car. She is super down to earth. Her and her team are incredibly talented at what they do.

During both shoots, she made Andy and I feel completely comfortable, which I think helped create more natural looking photos. Andy doesn't think he photographs well, but she somehow pulled off fantastic shots. She has an eye for special moments and interprets them differently for each client, which I love. She is a true artist, in that it's not "cookie cutter" in any way, but still felt polished and extremely professional. Our wedding went on without a hitch, she was polite, engaging and on time.

I would recommend Maddy to ANYONE looking to document their special event, I know I will be back for sure when we have kids for family portraits
