Amazing Dress, Price, and Service
I had the most amazing experience on Friday at the Bridal Salon at Macys. I was hesitant based on previous reviews, however Victoria was so responsive through email and our consultant Brooke was AMAZING! This little lady laid out the red carpet and created a lasting memory for me that I will never forget. Brooke pulled the perfect dresses and accessories to match. Because of her service and the amazing value of these BEAUTIFUL dresses, I said YES TO THE DRESS. My dress looks like it would have cost $10,000 in NY with all the beading and detail and it cost me a fraction of the cost and checked boxes that I didn’t even knew I had. I purchased my wedding gown from Macy's bridal salon. Everyone there was very helpful and professional throughout the process. I was often the only one in the salon so I received a lot of personalized attention and assistance. I worked with the same sales woman from the first day I arrived through when my dress was altered which was kind of nice to get to know someone at the store. They never pushed me to spend beyond my budget and they had a lot of gowns that were reasonably priced. The dress arrived much sooner than I expected although my veil was a little slow to arrive. They also suggested almost exactly the right size for me so I hardly needed any alterations.

I was very happy with the service at this particular Macy's location. My consultant was professional and considerate, and knew the dresses. She was not pushy and kept me within my budget.

I had a wonderful experience finding my wedding dress at this salon. Shamecca was a wonderful consultant and really listened to what kind of dress I wanted. She also scoured the back room and found me my dress which happened to be on a fantastic sale. I had a few hiccups with the seamstress, nothing major. She did a great job on alterations, but she was late 45 min to one appt and extended my final fitting date. Otherwise I had a great experience and was thrilled with my dress.

We ordered 5 bridesmaid dresses here. Bill levkoff dresses. All 5 girls were measured and fit the same day together. Every single one of their dresses were too big. Some were even 2 sizes too big. When I called to complain, there was absolutely nothing they could offer me for compensation. I almost feel they make sure they give them bigger sizes so they have to pay for alterations. Which is very unfortunate. We did not have any alterations done there, however. Their prices here were the cheapest I could find in the area so that is why we went with them, and it was a central location for all my girls to meet. I can't complain too much. It worked out fine in the end, but it would have been nice if they were fit better.

Not only did they completely order me the wrong dress, they made me take the store model. The only compensation was 40% of the FLOOR model. A bride's dream is not to wear a dress that 100's of other people tried on. My mom had to fight with customer service to get 40% off. They first only offered 25% for a FLOOR model. I still had to pay for alterations. The people were so rude to my mom on the phone. If you're lucky you only get married once. The only person that seemed apologetic and actually tried to make things better was Liz. Poor girl was hired and then got pulled into this mess that another person made. She was the only good experience out of all of this. The lady that did the alterations was very kind and on point, but the whole experience was kind of disgusting.

Save yourself the headache and avoid going to this store. The workers here are beyond unprofessional, rude and not helpful at all. I got stuck having to get a couple of dresses from here and the whole process was a complete nightmare. At least, I didn't purchase my wedding dress from here, I can only imagine the extra stress this would've been on me. The seamstress was awful, we had to practically argue with her to get what we wanted and the dress was still too big :( Stay away from here!

Buying my gown and bridesmaid dresses at Demetrios was the single worst thing I have done. RUN from this place as quickly as possible. Do not be fooled that corporate will help, they are just as bad as their stores. Everything started out fine - but that's to be expected when they are trying to sell you. Once you make the purchase all bets are off. Everything is excruciatingly slow to arrive, I ordered by gown in early May of 2013, it arrived in February of 2014. All but one of 5 maids got their measurements done in store in December of 2013 and most paid in full at the time as well. The last girl decided to drop out in March 2014, so I called the store SAME DAY and asked that they put in the order. They said order in and the dresses should be here by October. I went in for my dress first look in late March. My dress was an entire size too big! The consultant tried to tell me I must have lost a lot of weight. Are you kidding me - I was only 117 pounds when I chose the dress, there is NO WAY I lost an entire dress size and could still be healthy!! Before leaving that appointment, I AGAIN confirmed that my bridesmaids dresses had been ordered and were expected to be in by October at the latest. In September I called to get an ETA on the dresses so we could plan fittings together only to find out they didn't bother to put in the order until late August so my dresses wouldn't be there until "sometime"in December. My wedding is in early January!! They had the nerve to tell me not to worry about it because alterations shouldn't take that long. WTH is your point?? We ordered early so they would arrive early! They knew there would be no time to fix any errors with such short notice and when I complained to the manager and corporate about how much business we brought them to be screwed over, their response was "Don't give us any more business." Happy to oblige. Also to make sure that any other bride in the area knows to NEVER give them any business again.

I’m really sorry to say that we had a very bad experience here which has left me feeling sad and betrayed. We were lucky that this is the only bad review I’ve had to write for our wedding, but I start off by warning all brides to think twice before coming to this salon. We made an appointment to come in and try on dresses for my bridesmaids (6 total). We arrived on time and were pretty much ignored the whole time. We looked for dresses on our own and did not see any staff until close to the end of our selection process, during which the woman hastily measured the girls and rushed us through the steps. We strongly considered jotting down the information about the dress and purchasing it on our own online later (and I honestly wish we had) but we thought, no, they are professionals, they must know what they are doing. Unfortunately that was not the case. They measured my bridesmaids, but I don’t know why they even bothered. All of the dresses that arrived (in the size that they told us to order) were 2-3 sizes too big, and my bridesmaids were all promptly charged for the alterations to fix it. The worst case happened to one of my bridesmaids, who is a bit larger: they made her order a dress 4 sizes too big, even after she insisted she couldn't possibly be that size, and then charged her almost the cost of the dress (which wasn’t cheap) to alter it in order to bring it down the four extra sizes. Oh, and the kicker, they charged her extra at the time of purchasing for ordering such a large size. I went in with her to speak to the manager and was shocked at the complete lack of caring and sense of responsibility I was faced with. I didn’t even hear the words “I am sorry.” She said, stone faced and with no indication of sympathy, that she would speak with her supervising manager, but I have yet to receive a call or any indication of apology or explanation. I am very sorry to say that I had this terrible experience here, and for that reason cannot recommend it to anyone.
