Negar was so easy to work with and made us an amazing cake for our wedding! I cannot stop thinking about how good it tasted and how well it fit into our overall theme. I think one of my groomsmen had 3 slices! I would highly recommend Ma Petite Maison to anyone looking for a cake!

She took the time to do several phone calls with us to help explain all the cake options. The cake was made exactly as we pictured it (even with only limited instruction) and was incredibly delicious. Would highly recommend!

I found Negar on Instagram and knew immediately I wanted her to make our cake based on the design. When we reached out for testers, she had a wide variety of flavors and they were all so yummy! We went with the classic vanilla and strawberry filling and it was so delicious! Negar delivered us the most beautiful and delicate cake and my guests raved about it afterwards! Thank you Negar!

I have seen Ma Petite Maison’s Cake Design on Instagram long before I got engaged. I noticed that her cake designs were always luxurious looking and often featured on wedding blogs. I was initially considering getting just a traditional buttercream frosted cake and thought this bakery would be out of my price range. However, my husband who didn’t care about any other detail of the wedding declares that the Wedding Cake was his favorite part of any wedding. He also fell in love with a very whimsical complicated designed Alice in Wonderland themed cake. He’s a therapist and I knew that a psychedelic dream like cake was perfect for him. Unfortunately other bakers quoted us up to $13-$14 a slice and were uncertain If they can duplicate exactly what he wanted. So I was so pleasantly relieved to get a response back from Negar with a quote nearly half of what we had seen and was willing to create the 3 layers in the specific way my Hubby wanted. Unlike other bakeries that suggested we order more servings than guests, Negar suggested that since we planned on having a dessert table, we cut the cake size to feed 75% of our head count. My Husband was unable to attend the cake tasting, so she kindly had to go pieces for him to try at home. Ordering was seamless. Negar even took the initiative of using her own tea cup as the cake topper rather than wait for me to drop off the one I had the day of the wedding. So when I entered the reception room, the cake was already beautifully displayed. This bakery produces delicious cakes that are a work of art. I highly recommend.

We picked Negar based on her dazzling yelp reviews and also because she is somewhat close to our venue. I tried contacting her but the voicemail always says that her shop is very busy. Some people might find this annoying or they might just stop and look for a different vendor but that is not the case for me. I knew then that she was the one. That voicemail motivated me to keep on contacting her because being busy means that her creations are great. At last, my persistence paid off and we were finally able to talk about my wedding cake. I was so ecstatic when she sent me all the flavors she has to offer and we immediately booked her for tasting. All the flavors that we chose tasted very good and we ended up getting the taro and cookies and cream combination for our cake. In addition, we also ordered mini cupcakes from her. One thing that I like about Negar is that you can really tell that she loves what she’s doing and that she deeply cares for her clients. She didn’t even want to take our reservation money because she strongly believes that we shouldn’t pay her unless she’s done some kind of service for us. Our guests love our cake and it’s all because of Negar. It was beautiful and perfect and take note, she gave us extra mini cupcakes for free just to make sure our guests will have enough which I think is very sweet of her. Negar is awesome and we highly recommend her! You won’t regret it!

Our cake was perfect. Taste was something we both wanted to be on point for our wedding day. Negar delivered that and more. Our guests were blown away by our fun flavors and the quality of the cake. Even my dad who never likes cake was over the moon. She has so many fun flavor combos that if you want an out of this world experience look no further. Our flavors were lemon cake with rose buttercream and almond cake with strawberry buttercream. The butter cream is superior to any other tasting we had, you have to try it. We are so happy with our decision to have Ma Petite Maison Cake Design make our wedding cake! Our guests raved about it and we even had leftovers too enjoy for the next day. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect wedding cake for their wedding! Highly recommended!

I want to start by saying I am not a cake person, and wouldn't have even had a cake at our wedding but for the tradition, but I would eat the cake that Negar made every day for the rest of my life. If you are considering having Negar make a cake for your special event, please just hire her! We heard from guest after guest after guest about how they had multiple slices of cake and could not believe how good it was.

And Negar is incredibly wonderful and positive to work with. At our tasting, we mentioned to Negar that we liked honey in our desserts, and she actually went into her kitchen and quickly whipped up an INCREDIBLE honey buttercream while we were there for us to taste in addition to the flavors we were already trying. Honey wasn't even one of her offerings, but she said of course we could have that for the wedding--and we ended up having alternating layers of Chai cake with honey buttercream frosting, and pistachio cake with coconut frosting. Each flavor pairing was out of this world and Negar nailed the exact brushed gold design that we wanted on the design. Thank you so much Negar!!

Ok. So I knew from the start that I wanted Negar to make our wedding cake. I was really impressed when I read all of the positive Yelp reviews and was intrigued by her flavors. So when she replied back and scheduled a time for my husband (then fiancé) and I to do the tasting, I was super excited.

For our tasting, we chose to try the red velvet, the taro and the green tea cakes and for the filling we chose rose, mango, Oreo, vanilla and caramel. EVERYTHING was soo good. I mean, even my husband, who doesn’t like sweets, loved everything and ate all of his cupcakes.

So for our 2-tiered cake we chose the taro cake w/ mango filling, for our cupcakes we got red velvet w/ Oreo and green tea w/ rose and for the cake pops we got the vanilla. She also made us cookies and I surprised my husband with a groom’s cake shaped like a Nike sneaker. He loved it and didn’t want it cut so we saved it and ate it when we got home. It was yummy! Actually everything was yummy! Okay I actually didn’t get to eat our wedding cake or the cake pop since they were all gone by the time I was ready to eat them but everybody told me they were delicious. I was able to eat a part of a cookie and one of the red velvet cupcakes and both were awesome. By the end of the night, we didn’t have anything left. :(

Also, let me add that our cake and everything else were exactly how we wanted them to look. I sent Negar pictures and vaguely explained what I wanted but she got it. She understood my vision and executed it perfectly. Our dessert table was beautiful!

Oh and 1 more thing. Negar’s desserts are sweet but she’s even sweeter! She is the best and so easy to talk to. She is inviting and warm and I think that really resonates in her creations.

We were planning our wedding from out of the country and we weren't going to be in California until 1 week before, so we booked all of our vendors through our wedding planner and trusted that we would be working with the best in the industry. We were so pleased with the service that we received from Negar. She worked with our budget and made the process so painless. My only suggestion is to book her quickly, because she is in high demand.
