We aren't Lutheran but because my husband was married in a Catholic church and divorced we were not able to be married in a Catholic church. Wanting God to be a part of our marriage we looked for a place that would marry us. We came to the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection by accident - they have a sister church that we were interested in but there was a miscommunication that resulted in us meeting with the pastor of the Lutheran Church. But now we both believe this wasn't an accident. We felt welcomed and accepted right from the start. Meeting with the pastor several times before our wedding just reinforced that we made the right choice. The pastor is young, energetic, funny, and most of all loves his "job".
