Rabbi Sara Shonfeld is a wedding GURU!! Her personality and cheerfulness throughout the entire wedding process has made me feel the most excited about our Jewish ceremony! She is so kind, caring, thoughtful and light-hearted! Her professionalism and attention to detail was immaculate in every way. Our guests RAVED about how beautiful and intimate our ceremony was and the highlight being Rabbi Shonfeld! She made us laugh, cry and gave us the ceremony of our dreams :). One of my favorite moments was during the Ketubah signing where she sang beautiful and fun traditional Jewish songs where we laughed and danced. She also kept in touch with us after the wedding and now we are close friends! I can't wait to include her for all our future endeavors as she is truly a blessed and special person. Rabbi Sara Shonfeld worked with Rev Deb Viola and together they created the most beautiful wedding ceremony and ketubah ceremony for our July 18th wedding! We can't express enough how special the entire day felt.

We originally found Rev Deb and Rabbi Sara through my husband's mom. She attended a wedding ceremony that they officiated together and she said it was the best ceremony she had ever been to. In the months leading up to our wedding, they were both understanding, patient and very detail oriented to ensure everything went smoothly. Rabbi Sara officiated our wedding this past November, and we were very happy with how everything turned out. She was very accommodating during the process of planning the ceremony, going back and forth with us in many revisions of both the plans and the text of the ceremony itself. Everything was planned out to the last detail - which helped reassure us ahead of the big day. The final text she put together, and delivered at the ceremony itself, was beautiful.

As an interfaith couple, we also appreciate the care that went into incorporating some elements of Catholic traditions into the larger Jewish ceremony, particularly the way she noted where both faiths shared elements in common, like the Priestly Blessing. It was a very nice - and meaningful - touch that helped bring both families together.

Rabbi Sara was wonderful. I am Jewish (though secular), and my now husband is secular. We were looking for a Rabbi because we wanted to have a Jewish wedding, but be able to customize it in a way that felt authentic and true to us. From our first conversation with Rabbi Sara, it was very clear that she was all about making our ceremony feel very personal and unique to who we are as a couple. She really delivered on that.
