Lucie Stern was such an amazing venue for my wedding! Gonzalo helped us every step of the way and was very flexible to our needs. All of our guests were telling me how breathtaking the venue was and I couldn't agree more! We had our ceremony on the outdoor patio, the cocktail hour in the courtyard, and the reception in the ballroom. Our guests loved the fact that they didn't have to drive anywhere between the ceremony and reception, yet it was still a change of scenery for each portion of the wedding. I was able to use the fireside room to get ready, and we had around 13 women in that room at once and we didn't feel overcrowded. Though it is a community center, it looks so beautiful. The architecture reminded me of an older Spanish building. It was very reasonably priced for being located in the Bay Area, and I am so happy that we found this venue! It was PERFECT!Sent on 11/11/2016

The Lucie Stern Community Center is beautiful, the rules are minimal (basically just don't break things, not that hard to comply with), it's easy to book, and it's very affordable (especially if you live in Palo Alto like we do). We used the patio for our ceremony, the courtyard for our cocktail hour, and the ballroom for dinner and dancing. Everything about the center was beautiful, laid back, and easy. It's a community center, so it doesn't come with any planning services, but our caterer took care of all of that for us, and our wedding could not have been more perfect. Plus, everytime I drive by I think, "That's where I got married!!"Sent on 07/31/2013

I love this venue!!! We had our wedding on the Patio (outside grassy area), cocktail hour in the Community Room and the reception in the ballroom. With about 150 guests there was plenty of room (could even fit a couple more tables but may take up the dance floor if you do that. Sometimes getting a hold of someone can be difficult but they ALWAYS got back to me with responses as soon as they could. The place is beautiful (even more with a little lighting) and reasonably priced compared to the other options out there!Sent on 12/15/2016
