I couldn’t be happier with PIASC, I had no stress planning my wedding because everything was included in my package, from cake, flowers, photographer, videographer, food, servers etc. Working with Tony was great and such a big help. I had so many compliments about how beautiful my wedding was, especially the lamb lollipops that I didn’t get to try but everyone loved! The service was great! I would recommend a million times and plan of using them for other events! Don’t let the outside fool you because inside is just beautiful and elegant.

The PIASC is truly unbearable in terms of value and service. It is all inclusive, all you have to do is show up with your dress and the rings and you're set. They cover literally everything else and Tony, the manager is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. He worked with us every step of the way.b you'll understand when you meet him, he's what really makes this place what it is, phenomenal.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Peninsula Italian Social Club for the support and enthusiasm for the first annual Peninsula Social Club Foundation Crab Cioppino dinner fundraiser. Tony Vitrano not only suggested the Crab Cioppino dinner in the first place, but oversaw many details to make sure the evening went off without a hitch. Chef Matteo was committed to making this event the best ever, the dinner was outstanding. We have had many people asking if we will be doing it again next year and I am very happy to say that we have already scheduled another dinner for next year on January 26, 2020.

One word: Tony. There is no Peninsula Italian American Social Club without Tony Vitrano, the general manager and man behind the scenes of this place. Don't get me wrong, there are many wonderful things to say about PIASCSM. The venue is beautiful, the food is good, and the value is excellent, but what brings it all together is Tony. We had our wedding there in January 2019 and for weddings, they have packages set up that you can choose from and add onto or adjust based on your needs and desires. We chose to go with the Gold Package for our wedding and bring in our own DJs, photographer, and videographer. The Gold Package includes all inclusive venue rental with set up, clean up, linen upgrade, chair covers with sash, floral centerpieces from Lester’s Flowers, cake from Dianda’s Bakery, wedding invitations (printed online), house wine for dinner, hor d’oeuvres during cocktail hour (we added on open bar), and buffet dinner. Added bonus with the package is overnight hotel stay in a suite at Crowne Plaza and the contact there can help you set up a room block too. Tony was our first point of contact and walked us through the entire process, set up times for us to come by for food tastings, met with us and our vendors (DJs) about set up and audio needs, and even provided some uplighting to make the hall look great. We had our wedding ceremony in the courtyard in front of family and friends, then took pictures there after while everyone moved inside for cocktail hour. Under the professional direction of Manager Tony Vitrano, the Peninsula Italian-American Social Club (PIASC) hosted my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception last October (2018). Tony and his team did an amazing job of transforming the venue into the beautiful "Wine Country" theme we had envisioned. Tony is an outstanding event coordinator and took care of all the wedding day details, both large and small. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding experience. The PIASC is a hidden gem in San Mateo and I would highly recommend this venue, and especially working with Tony, for your next event!

The PIASC is an awesome venue that accommodated all our wedding reception needs. Huge space, outdoor patio, bocce ball courts and surprisingly delicious food (numerous compliments on how great the food was). Great bar, great staff, overall just a great versatile venue. What made our experience even better was the manager, Tony Vitrano. He is such a personable and genuinely good soul, it was disarming how easy and smooth he made it all to plan. He was so honest and upfront about everything from beginning to end, making sure all our needs were met throughout the entire process and even the night of. There are few things in life that meet and exceed expectations especially on as special occasion as this and Tony makes the PIASC one of those rarities. We will definitely be back just to eat at their wonderful restaurant and say hello (along with many thanks).

My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Peninsula Italian American Social Club in May 2018. We began researching different venues in April 2016, and the PIASC was the first and last venue we visited.

Tony, Manager of the PIASC, was responsive, transparent, and warm from the first time we contacted the Italian Club. He shared the various packages that they offered which we found to be upscale, diverse and most importantly, in our price range. My wife and I work in the hospitality industry, so we were familiar with the price points and offerings other hotels and venues offered for similar packages. The Italian Club was the best bang we could get for our buck, so we scheduled a tour with Tony.

During the tour, Tony showed us the entire venue and described how we could and eventually did use it for our big day. As you walk in, there is a separated restaurant to the left which we used for our cocktail hour. It connects to a private courtyard which we used for our guest book signing table during the cocktail hour. The main hall has a simple feel upon entry, but it is customizable to your taste. There are columns along each wall that have uplighting to set the mood for the event. Where Tony really sold us was when we walked to the center of the room directly under the chandelier. He then dimmed the lights and had us imagine our first dance... Winner, winner, chicken dinner, we were sold! We signed the contract and locked in the platinum package for May 2018.

Our platinum package included all food and non-alcoholic beverages, cake and cake cutting services, room rental, 2 bottles of wine at each table, champagne toast, and flowers! There were certain items that we decided to upgrade, so we paid more for additions such as chiavari chairs, staging and draping for the sweethearts table, hosted bar, and an extra hors d'oeuvre. All of these listed were organized through Tony, so we did not have to bother with extra vendors and invoices.

Any questions or requests we had along the way (mind you it was 2 years so there were many questions), Tony took care of it. If you do a tasting at the Italian Club, be ready to eat.

On the big day after the ceremony, my wife and I were tired and a little nervous with everyone focusing on us, but Tony and his team took care of us. We were sad to miss cocktail hour because we wouldn't be able to eat the apps we chose, but his team saved a lot just for the late arriving wedding party. Tony made it a point to remind us that this was our day, and we were to enjoy it. Tony checked in on us throughout the night and ensured we always had a drink in our hand.

My wife and I capped off a perfect celebration to the beginning of our new life together, and a great deal of thanks is because of Tony and his team at the Italian Club.

I have to start off my review with expressing my gratitude for Tony the venue manager. Our family has rented this venue about 4 times. It has been nothing but a pleasure working with Tony. He will make sure that your day goes as smoothly as possible. I truly can't thank Tony enough for all the efforts in making our wedding just how we envisioned it. He went above and beyond and really went the extra mile which is what makes him unique and such a lovable person. I highly recommend this venue. It is beautiful and the staff is genuinely caring of your needs. The food is amazing and they have various choices to cater your guests needs. Tony has connections with many vendors and is a very honest person and respects your budget. In comparison with other vendors he is not pushy at all and lets you take the steering wheel. Thank you Tony and PIASC staff. You guys have really made our day the best day and it is all because of you guys! So grateful. Book them! I promise you you will not regret it!

We have had several events at PIASC. The venue space is large and can accommodate a large party or can be condensed for a more intimate gathering. The venue, size, price, food and location cannot be compared with anything on the Peninsula. Close to CalTrain and highway 101 makes it very convenient for guests. Tony is accommodating, knowledgeable and a true professional with planning and ideas to make your event a success. I cannot say enough great things about Peninsula Italian American Social Club.
