We could not have been more excited to have our wedding at the MMC in San Francisco for our October 2016 nuptials. Lisa Jimenez was so attentive to all of our questions and any concerns that we had along our almost 1.5 year process. She made sure we had all we needed for our special day. The bridal suite was amazingly wonderful. Plenty of room for my bridesmaids to get ready. We had 2 hairdressers and 2 makeup artist, 2 photographers and a videographer in the room and we had plenty of room. We had our ceremony and reception on the 11th floor in the Crystal Ballroom. Our ceremony was beautiful. We transformed the ballroom with curtains and floral arrangements to block the back and front walls. The help we received with all of our plans was amazing. We selected an open bar with passed hors d'oeuvres. From the buffet set up, we asked for the antipasto and cheese trays to be placed in the cocktail bar for our guests to enjoy before dinner. Our guests tell us the food was great, we didn't get to try much of it as we were chatting with guests and taking pictures. We took our main set of pictures in the beautiful library post ceremony; totally recommend at least a few pictures there. Simone, our day of coordinator was great. She made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day, even fluffing my dress one last time before I walked down the aisle. We set up a charging station for our guests and the MMC set up a sign with their Wi-Fi. What a nice touch...our youngest guests were excited to have Wi-Fi available throughout the night. Our wedding ended early the next morning and were welcomed to our suite with a bottle of sparkling wine, cake and a set of beautiful MMC flutes (which we accidently left in the room). We had the wedding of our dreams and can't thank the MMC staff enough for all they did! Lisa you are the best!

If you want a unique venue that people talk about time and time again after your wedding is over, this is the place to have it. Right when you walk in, there are 3 flatscreen TVs that can play photos of you and your spouse or just about anything you want. We had our cocktail hour on the 2nd floor that overlooked the main floor where there are two 4-story white banners that had our lighted, personalized, monograms. We even had our slideshow/video projected onto the banners! The venue layout allows for very unique arial shots and great lighting effects. All night our guests were raving about the venue. The service provided by the SFDC was excellent. We worked with Jill Schnaps, the SFDC's Event Manager, and she was very friendly and accomodating. She even let us practice our 1st dance/daddy-daughter dances in the venue before the wedding so that we could feel comfortable on the day of! We loved working with her and even received excellent a vendor referral for our caterer and she helped save us money by referring us to a local lighting company that cuts monograms for much less than anything you'll find online! This review is for The Lodge, the event space on the 3rd floor of the Regency Center. I was originally planning to get married at a gorgeous private estate and vineyard in Santa Rosa before the horrific fires made that impossible in mid-October. With family and friends already en route to the Bay Area from all over the country, we decided to move our venue somewhere safe instead of postpone. No small feat, and incredibly stressful! (Although it goes without saying, nothing compared to what the people in the North Bay are dealing with.) Through good friends and luck, we were connected with Jaime who manages the space and made it available to us. She was beyond flexible with load-in, catering, florals, and our DJ and on top of all that, absolutely lovely, kind, and easy to work with. I am so grateful to her. The space itself was gorgeous -- most of my guests commented that if they hadn't known I was planning a vineyard wedding they would have thought this was a perfect original choice. We had a blast, our guests danced the night away, and I will never forget our wedding at The Lodge. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique and beautiful event space in SF.

All of our guests commented how wonderful the live music was at our wedding. I was hesitant to hire because I thought it would be outside of our budget, but SFCM makes hiring musicians really accessible. Also, they were so great to work with and willing to learn new music!

This venue is truly off the beaten track! Who would ever think that a nightclub could turn into a beautiful cocktail hour and sit down reception dinner? We were not disappointed in our choice! The team at Temple is incredible to work with. They put so much care and love into making our wedding elegant- I almost felt like a relative that was given the royal treatment. The hors d'oeuvres were insanely delicious. We held our cocktail hour in the room adjacent to the "Shrine" which was perfect because we wanted to give people the WOW factor when they entered for dinner! From the chairs, linens, lighting, DJ, slideshow, bartenders and waitstaff, our event went off without a hiccup!! Jen, our coordinator, couldn't have been more attentive and caring. As a bride, I was touched and relieved to have her!! Jay, the AV whiz, did an amazing job creating the ambiance we dreamed of.

Verdi Club is an absolute gem of a find in San Francisco. This venue is BEAUTIFUL - elegant, clean and spacious with all the amenities. We hoped to find a venue that would handle most of the major tasks (catering, tables/linens, bar, staffing, etc.) and Verdi definitely has it all. They were flexible and incredibly accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure we were able to host our dream reception. It is notable to mention that they do function with one event coordinator, so responsiveness was a little slow at times due to the venue hosting multiple events per week, but ultimately all our questions and needs were attended to and every details went perfectly smooth throughout the night. I would highly recommend this special venue and would be eager to return for another event in the future!

Absolutely beautiful venue, got tons of compliments about our wedding on the upper level. Stephanie was willing to work with all of our ideas and make our vision come to life. They were flexible with our multiple postponements through COVID, and everything worked perfectly day of. Would highly recommend!

As mentioned in our pre-event review below, we had our daughter's Bat Mitzvah at the MBCC. We almost didn't consider the MBCC as their menu appeared to be somewhat boring for a teenager-focused party. Fortunately, we asked if the menu could be adjusted, and they were more than willing to come up with a custom menu for us -- the appetizers were amazing, the taco bar was incredible, and the dessert table was a kid's dream. Their flexibility on the menu extended to EVERY aspect of the event, with no "nickel-and-diming." They are a first class event facility with everything on hand or available asap: audio-visual didn't work the way we expected the day before the event (our fault) -- no problem, they brought in an amp and speakers. Want to change the color of the napkins and the table layout? No problem -- they'll get whatever color you need. The team -- from the sales manager, to the event manager, to the chef, to the night-of event, service, and bartending staff could not have been any friendlier, any more accommodating or any more competent. Also, the building and spaces are designed by world-famous architect, Ricardo Legorreta so the pictures our photographer was able to get were phenomenal. Basically, the night was magical, and we could not be happier. Thank you MBCC!! --------Pre-event review: Our daughter's Bat Mitzvah is upcoming, and we wanted to let people know what a hidden gem the Mission Bay Conference Center at UCSF is. The staff is incredibly nice, flexible and focused on our enjoyment of our daughter's big day. The pricing and amenities are a significant value, particularly in the Mission Bay/Dogpatch area. We looked at several other venues that require you to bring in everything (tables, chairs, linens, etc.) -- which has both a monetary cost, and a vendor management time/cost. The MBCC crew makes it easy -- all of the basics are part of the standard offering, allowing us to focus on making our daughter's Bat Mitzvah unique.

The evening was magical! It was a fairytale wedding with some budgetary constraints- you would have believed it was a million dollar wedding reception! The staff from start to finish were SUPERB and the dinner menu wonderful! The cake- a masterpiece! 10 Stars to Julia Morgan and team! The Groffs

If you are looking for an SF wedding, look no further than the Pearl. It is a beautiful modern space and the post professional and responsive team. The took care of the bar for us and made sure everything came together. We got so many compliments on the space. Also loved having ceremony and cocktail hour on the roof and then separate space for the rest of the evening. They made our wedding so special.
