Hire Amanda & enjoy your day!

Amanda is a phenomenal coordinator and planner. I swear to you, every time I had a question, even during a 10pm panic when I should be going to bed - she had an answer and a plan so I could relax. She notarized our wedding license application, she picked up our entire alcohol order when I couldn't figure out what to do because I didn't realize they wouldn't deliver to our location, she steamed my tablecloths instead of me having to try and fit it in the night prior, she had bubble machines ready to go when I decided I wanted to find some, she magically had a second sign stand when I could only find one in town, she made my girls' custom robes, she hemmed one of their dresses in a pinch and even came up with a solution day of during getting ready when one couldn't get a hem and was stepping on her dress. She was even going around picking up food which wasn't at all what she was there for and I should have thought to have someone take care of it - she did it anyways without any question. I did not really get to do as much pre-setup as I hoped and I truly didn't have to worry because Amanda got there early and got right to it. I attached all the setup she handled - even put the flowers out for my cake and I didn't even know where they were, & she still found them and took care of it. She was excellent at our rehearsal as well and got it done fast and made sure everyone felt ready to go. She is seriously a jack of all trades. EVERY wedding day - and I mean every single one, has hiccups and you can't control it all because things happen and there's so many people and moving parts. But I can tell you that you'll be able to just enjoy your day if you hire Amanda!

great flow and energy

As a wedding DJ we work first hand with the coordinator. Amanda is professional, talented and flawless. She was on the Zoom call with me and the couple a couple weeks prior which show how involved she is. She even brought her projector and screen to show a slide show for the couple.

Amazing officiant Amanda!

Amanda went above and beyond our expectations for our beautiful elopement. We are so thankful to have had her recommended to us. She even threw in chairs and an amazing sand ceremony for us. Thank you for making our day perfect!

Small Ceremony

My husband and I had a small ceremony (8 people) in Port Townsend, WA last spring. Amanda was responsive through the planning process and prompt on the day. No extra fluff which is exactly what we wanted.

Best choice we made was hiring Amanda!

Amanda is not only a phenomenal coordinator but also an amazing human being. She went above and beyond to make our wedding dreams come true. For one, she came and checked in on the rehearsal day and made sure to grab some of the items we had neglected to bring. The morning of, she even went and brought me my favorite coffee, ensured I was resting, and helped with our last minute boutonnières. She doted on my husband and I, making sure we felt confident, happy, and were present for our big day. I don’t know what I would have done without her. Best choice of our wedding planning was hiring her. To anyone reading this, don’t hesitate for a second!! Hire her. Thank you for everything!

Amanda officiated our July 12, 2014 ceremony in Bremerton. We planned our wedding from Montana so we didn’t meet Amanda until our rehearsal. Luckily, she was great! She was friendly, and ready to help us with anything. She arrived early for the rehearsal and ceremony, was well prepared, and professional. My husband and I wrote our own ceremony and Amanda read it from her iPad. She spoke slowly, and clearly so everyone was able to hear her. She also helped us with the marriage paperwork, and mailed in our documents. I would highly recommend her services to anyone.

Thank you!

First off, I want to thank Amanda for coordinating my wedding day. She was very punctual, professional, and responsive, all the best qualities of her being the best day of coordinator and we both love that about her. I was a very anxious bride and she helped me calm down.

Best decision we ever made!!

Amanda was absolutely fantastic!! We hired her for her officiant services as well as our coordinator. We had some issues with a previous vendor we had hired to bartend and she really came through for us; Making sure it was taken care of and we were all set for our special day. She came prepared to tackle any sort of emergency we could imagine. She went above and beyond all of our expectations and really saved the day. Amazing at communicating with us and between our vendors as well. She gave us such a peace of mind that we didn’t even know that we needed. She was an absolute blessing to us. We’re forever grateful for her and her services. We highly recommend Amanda for all of your future events!!!

Wedding night disaster - coordination without communication

Amanda was very kind and helpful throughout our wedding process, however our actual wedding fell into complete disaster. I spent my wedding night, not attending the afterparty I planned and paid for, but getting yelled at by my wedding coordinator. After receiving a heated phone call from Amanda as we were about to walk into our afterparty, I had to tell my family and bridal party that we had to instead go back to the venue to clean up. When we got back to the venue, Amanda insisted that cleanup was not her responsibility, despite it being the very first thing I ever said I needed from her, years ago pre-covid when this whole thing started.

Our dream venue had a TON of limitations, so before we booked I searched for a coordinator who I could trust to make it happen, or we’d pick a different venue. After posting on a local page, I found Amanda. She said that she had worked weddings at the venue in the past and was familiar with their limitations and hard 10pm shutdown time. This turned out to not be true. She told us she had a trailer big enough to fit all the rentals and décor and could use it for morning setup and nighttime cleanup. This also was not true.

In my very first email to her ever, I said that there would be a ton of rentals and stuff to coordinate and clear out at the end of the night, and I needed someone I could trust to deal with all of those logistics so that I could relax and have fun.

This could not have been further from what she delivered. I wish she had just told me she couldn’t do what I needed and to look elsewhere.

First off, Amanda called 2 days before the wedding saying she could no longer attend our day because of an injury she received while renting a wedding trailer to fit our rentals, since she didn’t have one that could. I was completely understanding and said I trusted her to pass everything along to her backup, Meghan. I should not have been so trusting, but I was so busy with all my family in town for the wedding I just didn’t have the time. My husband, Amanda, and I had done a venue walk-through where we laid out exactly everything we wanted and when and where and how. I should not have trusted that this would be passed along to Meghan.

Poor Meghan didn’t have anything. She didn’t have the bridal party names, she didn’t know where things were supposed to go. She didn’t even have contact information, one of the hotels got skipped by the shuttle and I had to find my phone and search for the shuttle company so that I could call and sort out what was going on. While I was supposed to be taking pictures and enjoying my day. She was finding me to ask me things so often that apparently my bridesmaids started physically blocking me from her sight and telling her to just figure things out.

The day was incredible regardless.

At 10pm, we were on cloud 9. The shuttle busses were about to pull away, my sister asked Meghan if there was anything else we could do and was told no. So we left. And thought everything was perfect.

45 minutes later I got a call from Amanda who was livid, she apparently was at the venue helping load up the rentals and was insisting cleanup wasn’t in her contract or her responsibility and she needed help cleaning the venue. I started to get emotional so my husband took the phone until my sister realized what was going on and took it to deal with Amanda. She confirmed that Amanda needed help cleaning and that a guest’s car was blocking the bartenders – though that obviously could have been dealt with individually.

We begged the shuttle driver to take us back. He agreed but this added a lot to our bill. When we returned, Amanda said that we never discussed cleanup and that it wasn’t her responsibility. I was just so sad and confused because in my mind, that’s literally why we hired her: setup and take-down. And even if it wasn’t, we all literally missed the afterparty to come back and help so I don’t know why she couldn’t have just been kind and argued with me another day.

I met Amanda at a wedding I was photographing and she was officiating. She was prompt, on top of things and worked well the couple and their large, blended family. The ceremony went off without a hitch and she had the right mix of admiration and humor.
