Tracey and John are both amazing

I'm not really sure I can put into words just how amazing Tracey and her right hand man John were. The weather for our August 21st outdoor wedding was wild. Rain is an understatement, it was a true down pour right before and right after our ceromony. The rain was so intense you could barely hear and definitely could not even see through it. Luckily, we had an indoor area to retreat too and Tracey and John did not let the rain and chaos that is caused bother them at all. They both got completely drenched and did not care one bit! My bridal party was also 20 adults and 2 little girls strong and they wrangled them all very well! Obviously, with rain came mud! And boy was our outdoor venue muddy after the tsunami rainfall. Since the mud took away a lot of shots I really wanted, Tracey got creative and worked to find other areas and shots that we could get without me possibly slipping and ending up on my butt! The humidity was horrid after the rain, but they did not let it phase them and they went with any idea I had. They also went with the flow and changed the plan of the day on the fly with no problem. Tracey was hilarious and made sure to make everyone comfortable. John did some amazing creative shots with the groomsmen.  I seriously could go on and on about how great having them with us on our day was, but I think you get the picture! If you want to know you are in the best hands no matter what the day throws at you, you want Love and Lofe Photography on your wedding team!

We had Tracey and John do our engagement and wedding photography. We love the photos because they are natural and beautiful. Tracey even asked what type of photos you want/like. I initially chose Tracey because I loved the breadth of her editing abilities, however her entire creative process is professional and top notch! She always returns emails/answers questions promptly and is very easy to work with. She was very flexible when our wedding had to be moved due to COVID. I sent her a Pinterest idea book with wedding photo ideas and I'm so glad I did because I was too busy the day of the wedding to remember what photos I had originally wanted. She and her partner John were more than patient with a busy and tired wedding party on the wedding day and were wonderful at reminding us when it was time to do sunset photos and some after dark shots. I love my wedding photos and highly recommend her for any of your photo needs!

My husband and I went over budget on photography and as financially savvy as we strive to be, we knew it was 100% worth it!. Tracey is such a wonderful person and her photos are all breathtakingly beautiful. Tracey was so easy to work with and an absolute joy to get to know. Tracey at Love & Life was the perfect choice of photographer for us. All of her wedding and engagement shots capture and express the underlying feeling of love I have for my husband, in whatever setting she is shooting. Her shots are simply stunning and bring out the core emotions present using a perfect balance of vivid and vibrant colors, lighting effects, and natural settings to the fullest. We considered many photographers but when we first sat down with Tracey in the Love & Life studio we knew very quickly she was going to be the right choice. Her work really stood out for us over the others when we considered the feelings between people she was able to capture. She was also extremely flexible and understanding and tailored a package to our needs (my husband and I had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony that needed shooting before the actual wedding ceremony, and she and John were able to do this for us without any problems). Tracey was also super understanding with engagement photo locations and we never felt “rushed” to get anything done (the outdoor shoot at the August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area was so much fun!). Photography is such an important decision for a wedding – don’t settle for anything less than the absolute best there is in St. Louis. If God blesses us with children we will definitely be back to have more shots taken!

Tracey and Derek were amazing to work with from our first planning meeting through the very end of our night. We met and emailed several times to make sure everything we wanted in our photos would be captured. Tracey was willing and able to adapt to our crazy requests (Holi color engagement photos and bring our dog!) and made every session laid back and fun. Tracey and Derek came prepared to our big day and took plenty of shots for us to piece together our day. They were a pleasure to work with!

When Doug and I first met Tracy at Love and Life.. We know right away her energy and quirky personality was a perfect fit for us and our wedding day... We could not have been more right... We picked the hottest day in May to have our engagement photos taken.. and on the day of our wedding it was 140 degrees in St. Louis. Tracy stuck with us all day and into the night... Despite the sometimes unbearable heat...

Her LOVE for capturing the right moment is infectious... She was up for just about anything... listening to what we wanted to see and providing her twist to complete the vision... We cannot thank you enough for helping our special day one to always remember...

Derek and Tracey were a joy to work with. They had so many great ideas, and were so patient and flexible with us. I can't imagine a better experience. They are by far the best photographers in St. Louis! We can't wait to work with them again!!!
