I came across Ala's blog and it was love at first blog post. Her work was amazing and I knew we had to have her shoot our wedding. We contacted her a year in advance because I know wedding photographers book quickly, and she said that she only books clients after sitting down with them and getting to know them. A meeting that was supposed to be 45 min or so, turned into 2 1/2 hours of chatting over drinks about life, cupcakes, music, family, etc. We didn't even discuss the wedding until the end of the night. She was perfect! We quickly booked her within the next couple of days and were so happy for the opportunity to work with her. We met up again in February to shoot our engagement shoot at Olvera Street, and 5 minuets into the shoot she asked us if we wanted to take a shot to ease our nerves because she could tell that it was a bit difficult taking pictures with people staring at us. Who does that, right? Our AWESOME photographer does!!!! The rest of the shoot was a piece of cake. Fast-forward to our wedding day, which just so happened to fall on the hottest day of the year, she was a champ in the scorching heat. She directed us, our wedding party, and our family perfectly. She asked our opinion when necessary, and we trusted in her completely. Our wedding pictures turned out AMAZING! I can't thank her enough for capturing the most amazing day of our lives so beautifully. Ala is a totally sweetheart and definitely our go to photographer for life!!!
