Facilities and Capacity
The 2,200-square-foot Grand Hall features a ceiling rising almost 50 feet above the floor, as well as large, ornate windows that flood the area with natural light. The Riverside Lawn & Terrace is a waterfront event space that boasts beautiful views of the Ohio River. This space allows couples to host an event entirely outdoors, or add an indoor and outdoor seating option for guests. Water Tower Plaza is a unique place to hold a ceremony or reception, as the 1860s structure is one of the oldest standing water towers in the area. Please know Louisville Water Tower Park will be closed all of 2022 due to planned renovations. We will not be booking events in 2022, but look forward to offering a more beautiful and better venue in 2023.

She was incredible. Went above and beyond to help with our wedding. Planning during covid was not easy but she was responsive and made the process flow smoothly.Sent on 05/25/2021

When I was a teenager my dad had a company picnic at the water tower. I remember telling him “wouldn’t it be really pretty to have a wedding here some day?”. My dad sadly passed but I chose the water tower solely on that brief conversation I had with him years ago. They did not disappoint. While I enjoyed everything about the water tower, I do wish they would switch their contract to another caterer/rental company. The company is very nice and the food is wonderful but it is quite expensive. Just keep that in mind. As far as the water tower, they were wonderful and the venue is absolutely beautiful.Sent on 05/15/2021

Everything I could have imagined
We were extremely satisfied with how everything turned out for our wedding. The Water Tower has some regulations being a museum but they were very flexible and willing to make things work. Staff was friendly and really cared to make our day special and smooth.Sent on 11/06/2020
