About this venue
The Mellwood Art Center features five different event spaces for weddings and other celebrations: The Picasso Room, The Monet Room, The Van Gogh Ballroom, The Da Vinci Room, and the Pigment Gallery. Mellwood Art Center is conveniently located and has access to I-71/I-64/I-65, so your friends and family can easily gather to celebrate.
Facilities and Capacity
Mellwood can accommodate parties from twenty to one thousand people. The building features a choice of beautifully decorated rooms with rustic and modern features. We have an 18-hour rental period from 8 am to 2 am, and the set-up and take-down of tables and chairs are included. We also have an open vendor policy and allow you to bring in and serve your own alcohol. During your event, a Mellwood facilitator will be on-site to help with any of your needs. We have plenty of free parking and no site fees.

Best value for your money
We had an issue with lighting on the day and everyone working there helped us figure it out immediately. Literally no other issues.
Amazing amount of parking for guests and everything you need is close. Having the guests be able to walk around and see the art in between the ceremony and reception was such an amazing experience.
Super great people to work with. You get the room for plenty of time and it’s absolutely worth it. If I could do it all over again I wouldn’t change a thing.

This venue allows a bride to create any look she wants for her wedding. You are able to choose your own vendors which is great. Pricing is great. I do lots of events at Mellwood. Plenty of parking and easy to get to.
