Louise is amazing. She is everything you hope for as a bride It always felt like she was on "my" side and she was so easy to work with. She is truly an expert at what she does and takes great care to make sure that the fit and details are perfect. I live on the other side of the metro from Louise and would choose her all over again because she is a so great.

Louise is such an awesome woman! She is amazing at what she does, but is also just a joy to be around. My mom and I always had a blast visiting her for fitting/alteration appointments. I worked with her for my wedding gown alterations as well as a couple bridesmaid dresses for other weddings, and she also made me a cocktail dress and garter out of my mom's old wedding dress. Great quality work and very reasonable pricing. I will be back to her in the future!!

Louise is absolutely amazing - she makes everything so stress free. She was able to transform my dress to fit me perfectly. Even when I lost extra weight right before my final fitting, she quickly made the adjustments and allowed me to pick it up at a later date. I would definitely recommend her to any friends/family who need alterations.

Louise is wonderful and made everything so fun and relaxing. I didn't do the bridal shop thing since my dress found me, so these appointments were my big bridal dress experience. Louise was so welcoming to me and my mom and we both loved our time at fittings. She did fabulous work getting my dress fitted to me perfectly, and added additional touches to my dress. She also made a beautiful veil that was exactly what I had been looking for. I've never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day, and a huge thanks to Louise for helping make my experience, dress, and veil perfect.

She was AMAZING. She altered anything and everything in so little time for so little money! She did things last minute and was so enjoyable to be around my sister and mom fell in love with her too. She's amazing and everything she does is beautiful for a quarter of the price anyone else in minneapolis will do it for. I wish i could have invited her to our wedding...she's awesome :)

Was the "planner" for a wedding in April '14. Louise is the best from start to finish! Louise altered my wedding dress in '08 and I have been raving about her ever since! She goes beyond the call of duty, you will not be disappointed!

Louise is amazing! My wedding dress was ordered as a size 14, and three months before the wedding I was wearing a size 6 dress. When I called her and told her what the issue was she said "That's not a problem, I can do it. Lets get you in for an appointment." I was freaking out that it wouldn't fit. We went in for my appointment and she just started pinning it in. Took her maybe five minutes, we asked a ton of questions and she just kept saying it wasn't going to be a problem. Three weeks later we went back and it fit! Went back twice more, by the week of the wedding it was perfect. She did an incredible job and I am so thankful for her!

Also, it was cheap! $150 for all that work, amazing. I love her. Definitely call her if you need alterations!

Louise was so awesome to work with! My dress needed a complete re-structuring, and resizing - and on top of that it was all lace. She took on the task with excitement, and basically rebuilt the entire front of my dress out of the lace from my train. I also enjoyed my fittings, because she's such a sweet, cheerful lady - she's fun to talk to.

Every time I came for a fitting, she would ask what else I wanted to change, and if everything was going the way I wanted it. She never hesitated at any request, and she executed everything perfectly! The dress turned out exactly how I envisioned it - because she was so intuitive and responsive. On top of that, her prices were completely reasonable! I was stunned when she told me what I owed - she put so much time and effort into the dress, I was sure I'd have to pay through the nose. But to her, it must have been a piece of cake.

I would recommend Louise to anyone and everyone!!!

Lou is great to work with and did an amazing job for my bride! Her reputation speaks for itself as she's probably one of the most well known seamstress in the Twin Cities. Multiple bridal shops use her as well as individual brides. She's a wonderful woman and fun to work with - we can't speak highly enough of her!

Louise was an absolute pleasure to work with! She not only altered my dress for my wedding (destination) but AGAIN for the reception, and an additional party dress! She is super talented and was able to make everything just perfect. I would recommend Louise, not only is she very affordable, but I felt very comfortable with my dress in her hands!
