Lonesome Spur Catering was one of my first vendors I booked in early 2018, after rescheduling our wedding twice we finally got married August 2020 and were so easy to work with through out that time. Any changes or questions I had, they quickly made and I got quick answers back. The food is amazing! That isn’t only coming for my husband & I but also from all our guest! I didn’t have one person say they didn’t like it. We had chips & salsa cocktail hour & than chicken fajita bar for dinner and it all went so smooth. Best part of Lonesome Spur is the owner also owns Lucky Spur Ranch so they had a full kitchen & knew what was going on & where everything was. Highly recommend using Lonesome Spur! PS...they have a restaurant in Justin you can go try out also!

Holy cow if you are looking for AMAZING tacos, this is your place! We had a full taco bar with pulled pork,brisket and chicken tacos. SO yummy!

Tracy was wonderful to work with! She is so sweet and helpful and is willing to do whatever it takes to make your event complete. The food was absolutely AMAZING and we had multiple comments from our guests that it was the best food that they had ever had at a wedding! I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is looking for catering for their wedding! She was so easy to get along with and fun to be around and her staff was wonderful as well!

Delicious food. Tracy is so helpful and has such great energy. We ended up going with the street tacos and having a macaroni and cheese bar for the kids. Everyone loved it. My husband still can't stop talking about the salsa.

Tracy at Lonesome Spur was awesome to work with. Lonesome Spur catered my wedding of 100 guests. We had beef and chicken fajitas which were delicious. She also provided chips and salsa early as an appetizer. Tracy was so flexible. I highly recommend their catering services!

These guys were fantastic!! Tracy is great! The food was excellent, service was great, and I was even able to get my table clothes from them as well!! We had their fajitas with chips, salsa, queso, guacamole, rice and beans. Everything was delicious!

Tracy with the Lonesome spur is wonderful! She is so charismatic! She served chicken, beef, and pork fajitas at my wedding and the guests all raved about the food-which it was spectacular! Her staff were all very professional and were extremely friendly. Great service and food!!

Tracy and the entire Lonesome Spur team were absolutely amazing. We had a BBQ buffet and pies for desert. Everyone, even our pickiest eaters, LOVED the food. The homemade, (yes, made from scratch homemade) pies added a unique and fun element to our reception.

We used Lonesome Spur Catering for our wedding since they are the in-house caterer for the Lucky Spur Ranch venue. Let me start by saying that the food was AMAZING. We did a BBQ menu with 3 meats and 3 sides, as well as several cocktail hour appetizers and even breakfast burritos for the morning after. The food was top notch.
My 3 star review is completely due to communication issues. When planning a wedding, there are so many different moving parts and vendors to hire and plan with. When it came to Lonesome Spur, we found communication very lacking. It was difficult to get questions answered and things constantly seemed to be forgotten or missed between phone calls and emails. This resulted in a lot of unnecessary back and forth and follow up on our end. If someone was hired on to manage the planning and communication so the chefs can focus on the food, this catering company would be a great choice for your wedding.
With all this being said, the day of our wedding Tracy and team really delivered on everything that we discussed and went above and beyond their responsibilities as the caterer for the event. The food was great and guests loved it!
