My husband and I wanted someone familiar with SF City Hall Weddings and we could not have made a better choice! Loic was super responsive and professional. He is constantly taking pictures and therefore we had so many great shots! Everyone who sees our pictures raves about what a great job our photographer did! And while most people I know wait months for their pictures, we had ours in about a week!

Loic shot our engagement photo and city hall wedding which was the same day. He also shot our wedding reception 8 months later. Loic was very easy to work with and I loved how organized he was. He set up meetings a few weeks before each event to get to know us better and his questionnaire made the day of shooting move seamlessly. During the event he was like a ninja. I didn't even notice him taking half of the pictures that he showed us. He also turns the pictures around very quickly. My wife and I booked Loic for our destination wedding and also chose to do an engagement photo session as well. He was very easy to work with remotely and responded to emails/calls quickly. Loic does a very good job at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and on the big day he manages the chaos very well. Loic shot our city hall wedding in early June. We would highly recommend him to other couples. He has clear experience and expertise in shooting city hall locations. Loic and Mischa were photographers at my wedding in 2009. I still enjoy looking at my wedding photos and have several hanging in our home. The service Loic provided was top notch. I was a nervous bride with many questions and Loic was very responsive both through email and over the phone.

used Loic for my wedding in June. Let's just say I was smart to book Loic almost a year and a half in advance. My husband and I made the right choice from the beginning.
As a person who works really crazy long hours battling fire drills and trying to juggle wedding planning headaches, Loic was god send. I appreciated the time that Loic took to meet with us during the initial consultation. He tried to get a sense of our personalities and our expectations. Additonally, he provided many good ideas and referrals/recommendations in terms of competent and creative vendors. We actually booked some of the vendors he recommended and they were awesome.
With regard to the process, Loic was pretty hands off during the wedding planning process until it was time to kick it into high gear. Neither my husband nor I are procrastinators and we appreciated Loic's proactiveness in reaching out to us and telling us--it's almost the big day...let's start planning. We did not need to chase him, unlike some unfortunate vendors we used (cake and rabbi-we should have asked Loic for advice). We discussed the important and posed shots we wanted and encouraged him to use his talent without restrictions. We were very very impressed as he was able to capture our (and our guests') personalities without us knowing it. He is not only good with posed and scenary shots, his headshots are amazing, delicate, and personal. As many reviewers would agree, you would have never known he was there as he works quite stealthly. I have also told a friend about him since she recently got engaged and I will definitely use him for future family portraits and professional headshots for work.
One last thing which was really important to my husband and I. Loic was very easy to click with and he made us feel very comfortable. You may think that's not pertinent, but you will find out the smallest things will annoy you during wedding planning if your vendor does not have th capability to think on his/her feet, is proactive and thinks like you. In summary, we think he has a natural talent in photography, but also uses his business sense to connect with his clients. If there were 10 stars, I would use that.
