Lofty Spaces is an industrial-chic loft wedding venue located in downtown Dallas, Texas. Their collection of indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to work individually or together as a genuinely versatile event space. Suitable for celebrations large and small, this venue has plenty of space for guests to mingle. The space also features stunning skyline views, sure to add a sense of grandeur to any event.

Facilities and Capacity

Lofty Spaces offers a choice of event spaces that can be used individually or combined to create a large indoor-outdoor event. Their spacious 6,000-square-foot industrial loft space can accommodate celebrations of up to 400 people. The loft can be configured as you’d like, and is suitable for both indoor ceremonies and receptions. Among its features are high ceilings, exposed beams, a polished concrete floor, and large windows. The 6,000-square-foot garden courtyard is ideal for outdoor wedding ceremonies and cocktail receptions in the open air. The patio area benefits from outstanding views of the city skyline, ideally suited for photographs or basking in the summer sun. Prepare for your special day in comfort, making use of their substantial 3,000-square-foot loft bridal suite, or 500-square-foot groom’s suite.

Services Offered

Lofty Spaces, with its choice of configurable spaces, is available for engagement parties, ceremonies, and receptions both large and small. Their wedding and reception package includes use of the indoor reception space, outdoor garden terrace, bridal suite, and groom’s suite. The couple is also able to book the venue for an additional one-hour session for bridal photos. Rental of the site includes tables and chairs, barware, a sound system, a video system, and cleanup. Free parking with a parking attendant is also available to ensure the utmost convenience for your guests.

What a great experience! We had our wedding at lofty spaces a little under a year ago. I can not recommend lofty spaces enough. The owner was both flexible and accommodating to our needs/wants.In regards to the food.... Bo catered a great meal. The location allows you to transform the space into what you dream of. Make sure to check this place out!

Wow all I can say! The customer service that was received during the whole wedding adventure was amazing. From the first time we visited to the taste testing and the day of, The Lofty Spaces was a perfect answer to all my wedding questions and needs for my perfect day!
Bruce and his staff was very professional and getting to visit on Wednesdays or even emailing between the staff and myself was great as well! I would recommend this venue for any type of event!
Oh my can't forget the food! Chef Bo, can throw down in the Kitchen! His food was perfect, his BBQ didn't even need sauce and then there was the Mac and cheese! People couldn't get enough of it!
I will continue to suggest this place because of everything The Lofty Spaces has to offer!

Excellent venue for fashion shows, corporation parties and great space for photo sessions. Great location with plenty of parking.

Lofty Spaces was amazing from start to finish. I booked roughly 11 months in advance for my June 2016 wedding.

Bruce was up front with every detail in the planning process. He did a great job of letting me know exactly what to expect from him and his team. He almost always answered calls, texts and emails usually within minutes if not within the hour. (He was also funny, and had lots of great stories.)

Ladell, who was onsite the day of, was amazing to work with as well. Its funny how when you treat people with respect and friendliness, they'll do the same to you! He really did go above and beyond when it was raining at 4pm, and he assured me that it'd stop and to not make a decision on moving the ceremony until 6p. HE WAS RIGHT!! I'm so thankful to him for calming me down and telling me to wait to choose!

By working with Bruce and Ladell and meeting with them throughout the year, we got a lot of extra value-added items that really put our wedding over the top in excellence. They are GREAT people.

Let's talk about Bo, the on-site caterer.
Holy.Jeeze....my guests were astonished at the high quality of food that was served. They RAVED on and on about how delicous the steak was, and couldn't believe it was THAT good from a steak buffet line. Baked potatos, mac n cheese, coleslaw and salad - all top notch. And they packed me and my husband 2 to-go containers to take with us!

I'd highly suggest any DYI type bride to use Lofty Spaces (and all my other vendors too, bc they were all top notch).

Loved this venue for our wedding - it allowed us to have our ceremony outdoors and our reception inside perfectly! We loved the warehouse and courtyard feel. SUCH A GREAT PRICE FOR A WEDDING VENUE!

Bruce was so great! He normally was quick to respond to my questions leading up to the wedding and was always straight to the point. There were a few things that he failed to mention but very flexible in correcting them and flexible in the details and deadlines. I liked that they had weekly open houses so we could come in to look at the venue anytime throughout the planning. It truly is a great space!

This is very much a diy wedding venue. You kinda need to know what you want, and I did so it worked out great. We had barbecue at the wedding and it was GREAT! My favorite thing though was that we could have the ceremony and the reception all in one big space. This made it comfortable and easy for all the guests.

My husband and I looked all over for a venue but when we saw Lofty Spaces we knew it was the one right away. We loved the openness and feel of the place. The price, contract, and flexibility around decorations, catering, and other services was also a plus. This is truly your DIY venue.

We had a lot of trouble, however, getting a straight answer from Bruce and his team about anything regarding the day of the event. The answer to almost every question was: "come to the open house on Wednesday nights." The problem with that was that we lived in Austin and couldn't drive down during the weekday to discuss design, etc. Bruce always accommodated us in the end (we scheduled times to meet on weekends).

If you are a bride who wants help, direction, or input on design or decoration--this is NOT the place for you. I later found out that this venue is run by a bunch of guys who couldn't care less about the details of the event. Their motto was "tell us what you want and well set it up." There is no sit down meetings to go over the day of details or reminders about payments or any kind of one-on-one personalization whatsoever. The responsibility was on us as the client. Bruce and his team always seemed really busy and we had to introduce ourselves to them over and over throughout the months leading up to the wedding--they weren't organized enough to remember if we had already booked with them or not. For my bridal photo shoot (two free hours with the rental price) Bruce double booked the venue and I was stuck to have to find another location. Bruce didn't even apologize or try to make up for it. Luckily my amazing photographer saved the day (check her out--a sea of love photography).

In the end--everything turned out ok and the wedding was perfect. La'Dell--the onsite manager during the wedding was AWESOME! He helped us out above and beyond. Highly recommend you collaborate with him early in the process.

I recommend Lofty Spaces--but it's NOT your typical venue.
