We had our ceremony & reception here. It poured down rain so we had to move the ceremony inside. Everything was wonderful! The staff was amazing that night, the food was wonderful. TKO DJ was terrific. Great choice! Received many compliments!!!!!!

Our experience with the lodge at grants trail was amazing. We wanted a venue that was almost all inclusive and would have great suggestions for the final details. We have a large family and were able to rent all the rooms at the lodge for our siblings to stay at the night of the wedding, we also have a 15 month old so being able to put him to bed was amazing for us. Also all our nieces and nephews were able to go to bed as well. We worked with Jim planning the wedding; he offered suggestions for DJ, wedding cake was provided in our package and was amazing, suggestions for another hotel with a shuttle service for other wedding guests. Breakfast the next morning was delish. The honeymoon suite was beautiful with hot tub and champagne.
We had guests with dietary issues and they were amazing in accommodating them. Orlando's also has tasting events so we were able to conveniently try all the food options, and they kept a copy of our notes from the event In our file.
The lodge is amazing, we only needed a few decorations and centerpieces otherwise it was ready to go day of! Our photographers loved it!
We would definitely suggest to anyone that wants a beautiful, low stress wedding. We had so many compliments on the venue, the food, the elegance of our event!

We held our small ceremony at the Lodge and LOVED the intimate feel! It's so beautifully decorated that we didn't feel the need to even add our own touches! It was wonderful renting rooms the night before and of so we could get ready there and have a place to crash after our reception (which was next door at Orlando's)!

This is where we had our wedding/handfasting and reception! It has a "north woods" feel to it, which was just right for my husband and I! It suited our tastes perfectly. The staff was so helpful and responsive, I never had any doubts about what was available, the costs, or anything! I've use this venue twice; the first time was for my daughter's handfasting when we all rented rooms in the lodge for the wedding night. (We used Orlando's Gardens Reception Hall right next door for the actual handfasting/reception because we had a lot more people attending.) We loved staying there and my then fiancé and I knew we would love to have our own wedding at the Lodge. The food was wonderful of course because it was catered by Orlando's, who also own the Lodge. It's a great place for a smaller wedding, which ours was. And they are very flexible when it comes to weather. We planned an outdoor wedding, and the weather did cooperate, but if it hadn't, I had no qualms about the alternate plans for indoor if it had been necessary. I never had to worry about anything we planned! It was a relief to know it was all taken care of! EVERYTHING went wonderfully!

HIGHLY recommend this place - woodsy but elegant, and they have the BEST coffee ever!

Our wedding at the Lodge at Grant's Trail was absolute perfection. There was just enough space for the entire bridal party to stay on the upper floors which took so much stress off the day, since we didn't have to worry about travel or anything. They were very accommodating of me showing up constantly in the year before my wedding to show people around and get ideas. The wedding went off without a hitch - there was not a single problem! The bartender was the best bartender I've ever worked with in my life, so personable and everyone loved him! Almost a year later I am still getting compliments about our wedding at the Lodge. Plus, it was SO affordable - it comes with a cake, DJ discount, catering, etc. - it was such a bargain. I recommend anyone to get married here!

Our wedding was absolutely gorgeous. We were looking for a site that wouldn't break the bank and the lodge fit the bill. It's beautiful and rustic. They always responded quickly to my emails and I never felt like I was bothering them with my many questions. It's $550 for 2 hours and this is a great price. I only rated them a 4.5 on flexibility since you can't remove any of their decor off their walls or change anything around. But that's not that big of a deal since it has charm. I was a damn happy bride.
