Rebecca and her team at L3 Events went above and beyond in helping us plan and execute our perfect multi-day Indian wedding! We had around 270 guests attending four events across three days in a blend of our two different Indian cultures (Tamil and Punjabi Sikh). Throughout it all, we were comfortable that everything would work out because of Rebecca’s personal efforts.

I was the type of bride that was anxious and really didn’t like planning events. Rebecca took literally all that stress away from us. From the beginning of the process, she worked with us (and our families) to understand a clear idea of what we wanted, our priorities, and our hesitations. She gave us manageable tasks to work on in between our calls and had a clear timeline of when things needed to be finished. We had no idea what timing would be necessary for various stages of decision-making to keep us on track, but she completely led us through it all. Despite not coming from an Indian background herself, Rebecca is very culturally competent and eager to learn and adapt to new cultures.

For a flat fee, Rebecca became our relentless counselor and advocate in the wedding planning process. She helped us navigate vendors, negotiated contracts and rates, and gave us key information to help us decide between different options. This was a collaborative, iterative process, and Rebecca often helped us put our options into tiers and assess the pros and cons of each. When we were lost, we usually just asked for her honest recommendation, and we trusted her judgment. Rebecca also took over full communication with vendors so that we weren’t bogged down with a million emails (while copying us if and when we wanted).

Although Rebecca is based in the Orlando area, she flew out to Atlanta multiple times to do vendor and venue tours with us. She spent days with our wacky families crammed in the back of minivans with us, all with a smile on her face despite my dad’s chaotic driving. Rebecca really became part of our family during this process!

Rebecca has an excellent temperament for this job. She’s very approachable and has a lovely sense of humor. She gave us grace for missing some of our assignments along the way (lol), but she was also strict when necessary and kept helpfully pushing us forward if we got confused or stressed.

During our wedding week, Rebecca made sure everything went off without a hitch, and her entire team really showed up for us at every turn. Seeing Rebecca’s face any time that week brought me an instant wave of relief from the usual wedding-week anxiety. She even brought me boba tea while I was getting ready – which she knew was my favorite! She was very attuned to our needs. Rebecca was a ridiculously competent point of contact – all vendor communications, questions, and logistics went to her and barely touched us! The whole team helped facilitate not just for my husband and me, but for every one of our guests. After so many months of Rebecca working so hard, one of our highlights was seeing Rebecca let loose a bit and get down with us on the dance floor at our reception!

I don't know where to begin but I'll start by saying I never interviewed another planner. Upon consultation I listened for industry knowledge and sought out professionalism as the two were my only non-negotiables. Rebecca was everything and more. She answered every call and when something was in question she would make sure she had a resolution. I would recommend her over and over again because she saw needs and addressed them and sometimes before I recognized them. This is what you want in a planner.
