PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

With over 28 years of piano playing experience, Linda Tao has graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada and played in many types of events including recitals, piano competitions, community concerts, as well as, charity and church events. She has taught piano to young students and has won several prestigious awards in the North Shore Music Festival including First Place for Piano Duo and First Place for Post Romantic. Linda has also completed her studies in Music History and Music Theory through the Royal Conservatory of Music.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is your rate?

$100 per hour of service on the day of the event. This includes piano playing throughout the hour with three 5 minute breaks. This includes tax but not gratuity. Gratuity is up to my clients depending on their level of satisfaction with my service. The hourly rate covers all songs on the Song List (see below).

Please Note:

The $100 hourly rate does not include rehearsal or planning/consultation session, traveling, tolls (if applicable), parking (if applicable), equipment setup/breakdown on the day of event. Below are the prices.

· Rehearsal or Planning / Consultation Session: $50 per hour

· Traveling: $50-$100. See below for additional details.

· Tolls (if applicable): The total amount of tolls required from Queens to the destination / venue.

· Parking (if applicable): The total amount of parking fee required at the destination / venue.

· Equipment Setup / Breakdown on the day of event: $50 flat fee

Do you travel?

Yes, I travel within New Jersey and New York including Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Long Island, and Upstate New York. Travelling fee applies ($50-$100 depending on distance. Higher end of the cost range would apply to places that are further from Manhattan).

What equipment is needed?

Piano or Digital Keyboard playing can be requested. If Piano is requested - the piano must be available at the venue. If Digital Keyboard is requested - additional $80 is charged to bring my own keyboard and amplifier to the event. My Keyboard has a variety of sounds including realistic piano.

Can I request songs that are not on the Song List?

Absolutely! My songs cover a wide range of music styles and are tailored for many different types of events from weddings, parties, cocktail receptions, corporate events and more. If you don't see your song on the Song List below, I can send you a more detailed list. Maximum of 2 songs can be requested per hour if not on the Song List or additional fee may apply.

How do I confirm booking and make a deposit?

If you are interested, please contact me via mobile or email (see details below) so we can discuss your request (date/time, event type, music type, length of performance, etc.) and then I can send you a contract. To confirm booking, the contract will need to be signed by both parties and 30% non-refundable deposit is required.

What forms of payments do you take?

Paypal and cash are preferred payment options.
