Everything looked amazing! Terri and Justin were extremely accommodating and open to whatever we were wanting. Pickup and drop off were very easy and all the staff were really great to all our guests. Food, especially the short ribs tasted amazing, the menu was flexible and we had so much food! This is a great value, and awesome setting, we received tons of compliments!

Perfect venue for our "unconventional" two-part karaoke wedding reception extravaganza. Doesn't need a lot of decoration, but they will let you do pretty much as little or as much as you'd like. Event staff Terri and Justin were wonderful, reassuring, and accommodating every step of the way as we tried to craft a fun-filled love-filled celebration of all our friends and family. Their chef was able to provide our bizarre international sandwich stations in addition to some of the dishes that make Schuba's and Lincoln Hall what they are (mac n' cheese, for example). With the balcony above, and the quieter pub area in front, all of our wedding guests, young, old, fun, boring, insane, etc., were able to find a place to comfortably enjoy themselves, and the main room with the stage lent itself so well to bringing everyone together.

Although the numbers may not say it, our wedding was perfect! Most of my complaints come from the staff's slow replies throughout the planning process - it was clear that we were not a priority until the week leading up to our wedding. This caused some concerns, frustrations and worries on my end - which was completely unnecessary. There was also a lack of communication regarding some unexpected costs and what the staff was willing to handle. Specifically, we asked repeatedly how much rentals would costs and "not that much" turned in to a lot. We were able to bring this down, but be prepared for a surprising number!

Additionally, with a DIY wedding, you cannot count on this staff to do complete set up. This is fine, but was not communicated until the week of our wedding. Additionally, even though we provided photos of our centerpieces set up, they were not displayed accordingly.

Finally, we asked that guests not be allowed into the venue prior to the ceremony. The staff did not accommodate and as a result I missed the opportunity for much of my family to first see me as I walked down the aisle. This was very disappointing.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
